AMF Brookgate Lanes

Went on bowling with my family 10/6 and experienced the worst customer service. 1.Front desk refused to greet us 2. after bowling for an hour and a half a league was placed next to us we were complained on 3. Our lanes stopped working 4. The disrespect we received when asking for help 5. 45 minute wait for French fries when asked how much longer we were asked “what do you want?” 6. The bathroom was grossnNow, we are rushing to finish family. This was not a great experience.

I'm in a league and was my first time there, yesterday. It is a decent place but like other reviews listed, the bathrooms are pretty bad and the bar worker is a little slow. There is some weird grease that gets on the bowling balls after being brought back but a micro-fiber cloth will wipe that away. I would suggest not using their bathrooms if at all possible, as a person who cleans building for a living, it is very unsanitary and they really need to get that part under control. With so many reviews on this topic, you would think they would fix that!

They workers here weren't very attentive to the guest and gave off a negative energy.nnUPDATE: I attempted to email guestservicebowlerocorp.com but the email address indicates that it's invalid.nI was visted the AMF located at 14950 Snow Rd, Brook Park, OH 44142, on September 15th. I had more than 25 guest that came with me. I then revised on September 29th, with the hopes that I'd receive a different experience with a smaller crowd. Sadly, both times were the same. I must admit tgat the kitchen staff were friendly and helpful. Id say realistically 2.5 stars. The bar is understaffed and extremely slow. If there are 4 other people at the bar and you want a even a pitcher of water you have to round-robin with other people in your league so someone is standing there when they finally give you what you asked for 10 min ago. Very pricey, eat before you go. The balls come back with black grime on them from the ball return, which has nothing to do with the lane grease. It's just extremely dirty. The grime gets on your hands making them tacky and disgusting, and makes actual bowling very complicated. This coming from someone who does leagues- its not normal. If you bring your own ball you'll want to clean it thoroughly afterward.nThere are dozens of fans going but somehow it's still muggy and uncomfortable.nThat said, it's a bowling alley. It's pretty large, and the lanes themselves seemed to be in good condition.

The folks working are nice, but agonizingly slow especially the bar. Something about the lanes is dirty and wrong - your ball will leave with some combination of nicks, black mystery marks, and roll/wear marks that aren't normal after only a few games. Bowling all over the area and the PA/NY/NJ area growing up, the grime and wear my ball is receiving after only a few 3 game nights is excessive. I strongly do not recommend a visit - once my league is over, I don't plan to go back ever again.
