AmericInn Ottumwa

I felt at home immediately upon entering the hotel and talking with the amazing staff who make the hotel itself. The rooms were very clean, the pool was amazing, the breakfast had a bunch of options and tasted great, I don’t know what else you could ask for. If I’m back in Ottumwa ever, this is where I’m staying.

Very, very clean rooms, although the blankets are rather small for the beds. Front desk is not staffed 24x7, and location is a bit hard to find. But the people we interacted with were all very friendly and helpful.

Not like other Americinn's. It had a good bed and pillows, but the breakfast looked disgusting. Room smelled. Room had all these cheap low watt lights so it was dark af in the room. Just not worth the money. Reminded me of a super 8.

We were traveling for business and had an extenuating circumstance that we needed a very early check-in. The hotel manager was so gracious and accommodating. The hotel was in wonderful condition and updated. We very much appreciate the management helping us and their kindness while we stayed. We will most definitely stay again when in the Ottumwa, IA area.

Carpet was filthy. Apparently there is plans to remodel this winter. But I think they should spend the $ to do some cleaning now.nNo protein options for breakfast.nStaff was pleasant.
