We stayed here for a wedding. The room was a little musky and was a little bit on the side of needing some touching up but was clean and comfortable for the most part. We enjoyed the waterpark the day we left. There is lots for kids to enjoy. The service that we had during the wedding reception was fantastic- especially our server Kevin. He did everything possible to accommodate my 5 year old picky eater and it was so very much appreciated!
Rooms were nice, water park wasn’t great but it’s good for babies/toddlers. Lots for them to do. If you’re looking to have fun as a teen or with your s.o I recommend somewhere else. They only have 4 slides for adults. No big thrills of drops etc. make sure to have other stuff planned because if you stay to long you will get bored easily. If I was able to get a refund for my stay I would because it’s not what I expected. Water park looks bigger in the pictures.
I was here for a pool tournament November 4-6. The room was clean and roomy. However, my father did get trapped in the bathroom for about 45 minutes due to the handle. My daughter enjoyed the Waterpark and arcade. I did not see either due to the tournament. The restaurant was pretty good, we ate there twice and both times service was quick and efficient. It was the perfect distance from the falls and Clifton Hill. Overall, we would go back and stay again.
Stayed there this past weekend in a suite. Our room was large, clean and the kids loved it! The water park was fun as usual and so was the arcade. The only issue was that our room had no hot water Saturday evening so I was not able to take a shower. I had the hot on full and it was barely luke warm. We let the front desk know the next morning as it was late at night but they didn’t seem too concerned or surprised. Paying $450 for 1 night I really would have liked a shower. I’m still giving 4 stars because everything else was great. Would have been 5 if not for this concern.
A nice family friendly indoor water park resort for kids. Two decent adult rides too that kids can also go on. Hot tub is nice but this time around they had so much chlorine that our entire group had tears in our eyes and it was burning. I have been there the second time. Parking gets right but they have parking a further away as well but you have to walk a bit in the snow during winter time. I could easily come here again. Service is decent. One important thing is they have replaced all soaps and shampoos with press and release liquid soap dispensers near the washroom faucets and the bath tubs. They have a Boston Pizza entrance from within the resort. The small food shop is decent near the pool.
Rooms were very clean and spacious. Kids loved the water park and arcade. Boston Pizza was tasty. Great not so busy location with a quick uber ride to the fun Clifton hill. Traveling with 2 disabled children and a disabled adult. The water park is loud with running water and people so if you have sound aversion noise canceling headphones work great. No issues with accessibility and the staff were all so happy and wonderful
The room was very spacious and looked freshly renovated, which was a plus. I was so worried because of all the mixed reviews but I'm not sure why I was so worried, we had an amazing time. My daughter loved the pirate themed room. The water park is good for younger kids and toddlers, the arcade was so much fun. Far enough away from the tourist traps that it's not crazy busy. The only downside was our room was not as clean as it should have been, there were fingerprints all over the cupboards and fridge, and empty wrappers in the kids bedroom, but it was nothing to ruin the trip. Everyone that we interacted with at the hotel was so nice, especially the ladies at the arcade. So pleasant and helpful. My husband went down to see if they sold playing cards at the gift shop, they didn't, but the one lady went to the back and found some for us to have. She didn't have to go out of her way to do that, so it was much appreciated. Definitely would come back and stay again!
For a less expensive hotel in Niagra they do a good job. The hotel is slightly dated but it's clean and well kept. The rooms are older but not bad at all and kept clean with no real signs of mold, water damage or poor repairs. The water park is a nice added bonus for the kids but make sure whoever you book the room from includes the 4 water park passes. Otherwise they are $35 each. It's a 8 min drive to Clifton area but was never really an issue for us. For the money it's a pretty solid hotel. Ideal hotel if you have kids. I usually travel with 2 kids so I need to consider kid friendly accommodations. Not a bad place at all. It's not high end or luxury, but it's well put together for the price...etc.
The rooms are nice hotel rooms; they are clean with modern decor and functional. The water park was a lot of fun, kid and family friendly. The amount of chlorine needed to keep the pools clean burns your eyes, and I would recommend showering after every time you get in the water. I also rinsed our bathing suits and hung them to dry between each use. My friend who didn't do this, her 4 year old ended up with a horrible and painful rash by the 2nd night.
The kid rooms are great, so fun with pirate and mermaid themes and bunk beds. My kids loved the rooms! The water park was fun but heavily chlorinated to the point that just walking into the room burned your eyes and the arcade was dated and a lot of the games either didn't work or didn't give you tickets. All in all, it was a nice mini vacation for the family but I doubt we will return.
