American Burger Bar

I have NEVERbeen treated so rude in a restaurant in my entire life. We called ahead to this place to let them know we were bringing a large group of people in for the night. When we got there the manager yelled at Us to stay behind the seating sign and would not let us go to the bar to wait for our table even though there were two bartenders and only a few people at the bar. The dining room was not even busy. We said we had no problem waiting to be served but he kept saying that we couldn’t even wait for a drink! There were 12 open bar stools!! He told a lady in our group she could not use the bathroom! We were so offended by his behavior that over 30 of us left. We went to another restaurant where we were immediately seated and served. They lost out on thousands of dollars and if I owned that restaurant that manager would be fired.

Worst place we've been to in a long time due to the attitude of the greeter. Extremely rude is putting it mildly. He claimed he was the manager/owner. One of our party asked to use the rest room and was told if she left the table she would be asked to leave. Keep in mind this was an older group stopping in for a sandwich after a basketball game. Because we were treated so rudely we left & were welcomed by Old Chicago. I might add that the people with us are not afraid to spend money so it was the Burger's Bar loss. Doesn't even deserve a 1 star.

Monday night we reserved room for 25 people. There was no mention that we could only order from 6 or 7 menu items. There was no apology for this. Bartender and waitress where not palette. But the young man the runner was great. But not one please or thank you. Or sorry for any inconvenience. So very bad experience.

The food and service were awesome. Seems to be a bit on the pricey side for St. Joseph's but thouroghly enjoyed my $15 burger

We went for the Tuesday chicken special (all-you-can-eat). It came with 'slaw, really skinny shoestring fries, a warm dinner roll & cinnamon butter. I really liked the fries and I loved the cinnamon butter.
