The restaurant is definitely not high end, the dining area is old, but functional. The food however, was flavourful and filling! I got an Indian dish, which was very good! And my fellow got steak. Initially I was thinking that he made a mistake… but the steak was perfectly done! No, it wasn’t the keg, but it was very good!!!
I drove by this restaurant several times and decided not to stop in because there were no cars parked out front so and it was just kind of "there". I read a few reviews online and decided to give it a try for brunch on Thanksgiving weekend. When I walked in, the smells of curry made me change my mind from wanting breakfast so I ordered vegetable pakora and butter chicken. Despite the average first impression, I would highly recommend this restaurant. The service was absolutely phenomenal! The food was delicious. The menu was expansive, so there is something for everyone. It is an absolutely lovely, family-run restaurant. The only reason it didn't get five stars is because the naan bread was not homemade. FYI there is lots of parking in back :-
Very yummy! Chai was delicious, breakfast was reasonably priced and hollandaise was super yummy. It is not the fanciest place but I believe it adds to the experience, it was clean and service was incredibly friendly despite being short staffed.
We were a little worried after seeing such varied reviews, but everything was awesome. We wanted a restaurant with a patio, where the kids could order a burger and we could order something a little more exotic than the usual burger/pasta faire at most family restaurants. We had some butter chicken and a chickpea dish, and it was good and spicy not too much, and very reasonably priced. Service was amazing; super friendly and attentive, and food came fairly quick. This is a great family restaurant for families who can never agree on what to have. We will return next time we’re in town.
We absolutely love this place when we come to town! The family is one of the kindest spirits we have ever met! Its not a fancy place and we LOVE THAT! The food is amazing and you can taste the love that her mom adds vegetables from her garden. We will see you next year!
Great selection on the menu and dog friendly patio! The staff are genuinely friendly even with pets and helpful. The food is good and they are licensed too. We went two days in a row, it’s definitely worth visiting. This location has the true Osoyoos vibe with a small town feel. Thank you for having us and making the experience great.
Starting our day here was one of the best decisions we made. The breakfast skillet was filling, the advice we got for the rest of the road trip was even better! The Chai latte was hot and huge, and the hot sauce was perfectly doctored by the cooks. Would happily return again.
We went there today for lunch and the restaurant was pretty deserted. The food came out in 30 minutes after placing an order and it was cold. Pasta was not even average. Fries were flavourless. We spend 90 minutes here for disappointing food.Food: 1/5
As an explorer, here's my spin... came here for breakfast, was walking distance from our hotel, use the patio for our morning meal. Ordered the special, eggs Benedict. Not a big wow, pretty good. The traffic on the main road quite busy in the morning.
This seemed like a family run business and it was lovely. Only 1 server and 1 cook from what I could tell but they were hustling. Didn't wait long for anything and it was fantastic. Nostalgic at its finest. It was a great breaky.
