I have been picking up comics from Dan at alternate icons for years and it's been amazing! Dan is super knowledgeable and a great guy to chat with I enjoy going in there to see him weekly to grab my books! He has a great assortment of graphic novels and back issues and if you ever need anything ordered Dan is your guy. Thank you Dan and Alternate icons for everything your the best!

Great assortment of modern era comics along with plenty of toys & collectibles. Dan the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable about most products and if he doesn't have what you are looking for in stock will try and work with you to see if he can find it. I've been going there for 20 years now; glad to help support a local independent book store.
The best comic shop for years. I've lived in Mississauga, Cambridge, Brantford, etc. and I always get my pull list of weekly books from Dan at Alternate Icons. It's worth the drive if you're from out of town. I've been going to Alternate Icons for over 10 years and Dan has never missed a comic, toy, etc. for my pull list. He's an encyclopedia of knowledge too. Great guy with a great shop. Definitely my favourite Comic Shop. Highly recommended.
Best and only comic shop in town. Dan is great and willing to hook you up with a pull list and get the comics covers/variants you need. New location is nice with place to eat and game. Patrick is also friendly and can cook awesome food. Thumbs up.
Not sure what to make of this place..... The staff made it seem like he didn't want me there. I feel like this place is for white incels only. I felt very uncomfortable there, I wanted to buy my brother a birthday gift. Definitely won't be back. Inventory is subpar nothing interesting. Musty smell also.
Tried shopping here the other day. Right when I stepped in the guy working there made me feel as though I was an inconvenience to him in his store. Also the place reeks of mould and body odour. I’ll never go here again and others should stay away also.
I wasnt aware there was a comic book shop In Brantford until I by chance came to this place. Since then it has become a favourite place of mine to visit just to browse their unique selection of comics and pretty rare toys and accessories of that nature. I give it this rating because any comic I have ever been looking for old or new has been there and the man who works there and I'm guessing owns the place is very knowledgeable. Cannot recommend enough.
I love coming to this store. Dan the owner is always willing to help and likes talking about comics. Great store in downtown Brantford.
