This was the worst wax I’ve ever had. I’ve been getting waxed for over 2 years and this is by far the worst. I’m new to the city so I’ve been trying to find a regular wax bar which is why I gave allure a try but tbh I wish u hadn’t. The staff was nice but didn’t go out of their way or anything. The washroom was tiny and uncomfortable and the service itself was also uncomfortable. After the service I had baby powder all over my clothes and when I got home I realized that there was hair missed. It was very fast as advertised but I’d rather a long appointment if it means a better experience.Service: Brazilian waxing

It was my first time at this establishment - I had googled them specifically looking for a place that specialized in waxing for pregnant women. They were perfect. I was at the Pape and Danforth location. Lovely and clean location, very pleasant receptionist. Robyn who waxed me was experienced, kind, compassionate and FAST! I explained what I wanted done and she did exactly as requested. Loved this place and highly recommend using their services. Pregnant or not.

My experience in three words: Professional, Accommodating and Friendly. I received uneven skin tone whitening service and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I was late for my appointment by five minutes, but they were very accommodating and understanding. Priced well for the friendly service. I forgot to tip at the end! I feel really bad! But 5/5 stars. Very impressed with their excellent customer service.

I used to go here a few month ago when Nina was working here and at that time it wasn't an amazing experience. I went here last month and I kind of felt uncomfortable. I tried to make small talk with her and it was mainly one word answers, didn't really seem friendly or wanting to talk. Not a great experience

Update- definitely not as impressed as I used to be. The new girls are not trained as well and I will only go see senior staff. There is no reason I should have to come back for corrective waxing services from new staff. I also love an hour easy of the city and it is incredibly inconvenient to do so. I will not be seeing any new staff they bring in. The training and quality of care from new employees is not up to the same par. Update- last time I was there the front desk staff scheduled my appointment wrong. When I received the email stating so I emailed back right away to change the appointment for my proper date and time. I did not receive a reply at all. I waited a few days, as someone should have gotten back to me. I had to follow up again to have them tell me that they couldn’t accommodate my appointment time. I’ve been a regular client here for over 5 years so needless to say I’m not impressed, especially since it wasn’t my error and no one replied to my email. Poor customer service. The changes over the past year or so have been disappointing as a loyal client. The only reason I have continued to come here is because of Luba and Autumn. Previous review: I’ve been going to Allure for years and will continue to do so. even after moving away from Toronto, I still make the almost hour drive in to get my waxing services done here. its very clean, which is obviously important. The staff are all friendly, knowledgable and professional. For waxing services I highly recommend visiting Allure! Thank you ladies!

Hi, since I started coming here for my body waxing I have been very happy with the treatment, and professional courtesy and this is from various employees, which to me means that Frank has made an effort to ensure that his attention to detail with the staff was right on spot. I have been in business for quite a long time myself and know that the secret to success is in the hands of the staff. They are your front-line people so when you get results it is because of their ability to do it right. When I first went there I met Frank who suggested various areas for waxing and I felt comfortable with the service. Thank you, Frank. I had been to 2 other Waxers before I came to you they were small operations one or 2 people run by themselves but they moved away to other provinces. I am not sure if you remember me and I didn't mention it at the time but the business I had was the best on the Island with a staff of 350 employees and about 200 in sales, when we were at our strongest. They were the front line. I made sure that they were highly trained, especially with people skills and product information. When I started to close as I was moving to Canada I had to reduce it in stages as no other company had the resources to buy my company so I had to split it up and sell it in the section over the years as I had my staff feeling lost I told them that they were the best and I already have their jobs confirmed, all my competitors and wholesalers whom we supplied wanted my staff as they knew their capabilities. All of them were able to migrate to about 30 different companies at the same salary and with no loss of their years of service. Most became supervisors and managers with increased salaries within 2 years, The reason was simple they were training the owners and employees of the other companies with the knowledge and style they had learned. The business was a jewelry business, I am happy and proud of all of them. You have a wonderful staff that is doing their profession correctly. I know this is a long story but I give credit where it is due. Visited Approximately 2 months later this time it was not as difficult for the waxing. Luba was a very professional attendant who did an excellent job of waxing. I will be back in late February or early March. The sensation of Smooth is pleasantly pleasing.
