Allina Home Oxygen & Medical Equipment

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in medical supply company. After having been diagnosed with Seasonal Affective Disorder & purchasing a lamp from Allina Health Home Oxygen & Medical Equipment, allowing myself close to a year of use to see if the light therapy would work work for me, I contacted them to return the lamp, as I had not seen much change. It was explained to me that their return policy is 10 days, after that the equipment cannot be returned, as I'm now considered the owner. I don't know of any doctor that would say that after 10 days, a patient using this therapy would see ANY type of change. How can a company have a return policy such as this when dealing with the medical/patient community. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY -- You'd likely have better luck going directly to the company that makes the product you seek. For example, if I had purchased direct from the Sunbox Company, they would have gladly accepted the return, so that another person in need could have the benefit of the therapy.

Friendly, courteous staff will help you feel at ease with whatever brought you to them. They'll bill your insurance company for you. Husband's item was delivered before we even knew it.

Deplorable customer service. I had the unfortunate experience of receiving a call from Peggy. There have been several complications with returning a piece of equipment due to my schedule. She called me tonight threatening to charge me for it and scolding me like she is my mother. She was disrespectful and rude. I tried working with her immediately because I knew I had made a mistake, I apologized several times. She didn't want to hear it. Instead she said I'm not a responsible adult. Absolutely disgusted.

They do not order supplies like they claim they do. They yank you around. I have been trying to get a new cpap machine and supplies for months now and have been forced to reuse supplies i have which is unsanitary and dangerous as plastic does not clean as well as other surfaces. They told me several times they would get a hold of my doctor and when i ask my doctor she says they have not contacted her. They give you a we will call you but the call never comes. Go out of your way to avoid these people.
