Alliance Van Lines was very quick and professional in helping me move my business office and residence. Considering a total of 5-6 rooms worth of stuff to move, they were able to get it all done and settled in day. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends. The guys were very nice and polite and were very careful in moving all items. They were fast yet careful and did a great job. Continued their work pace throughout a hot working day, really commend their efforts. Thanks guys! Great price, great service wrapping up everything and got the job done well.
Beware!! I had contacted several shipping companies for a quote and I got a call from John L from Alliance Van lines who I had never contacted.. they must have received my info somehowHe strategically coerced me into signing a contract by saying he is offering a special price if I can confirm on the call. We fell for it as the price was great! He gave me a quote based on my itemized list, I also provided him measurements of all my furniture. But he said measurements do not matter as a 3 seater or 6 seater dining table would be standard size and they have it in their system which made sense. Two days before my flight the movers come in on scheduled time... and start loading half our stuff into their truck. Then he tells us the estimate was all wrong and my furniture was very bulky and is taking up too much space in their truck. And it would cost me another $2200!! This is all after I in fact had 10 boxes less than my original count, and all my furniture is from Ikea so no way this was bulky. When I told them I would cancel, they said that I would lose my deposit and I would have to pay labor because they loaded the truck. I felt like I was being held at ransom and had no choice as with my flight in 2 days there was no way I would secure another mover in this time. Then it all made sense as to why Alliance Van Lines coerced me into signing the same day with a great price, and then had me in a difficult situation where I would have to agree to their terms. I was told that ALLIANCE IS JUST A BROKER CO. who passed on the job to "Expert movers". Alliance had assured me they had their own trucks. I would never wish for anyone to face this situation, I wish I knew this is how shipping companies take advantage of people. It is not about the money but the principle of it. I feel I have been conned! And I would want anyone looking to move to be aware of what these guys are capable off. I emailed the agent and my msg has been blocked! Im surprised by all these positive reviews!! Update- Xpert/Expert movers Union city NJ outsourced the delivery to another scamster who delivered our stuff with a ripped out roof! Our furniture was damaged and he refused to re-assemble the furniture which was part of our contract with Alliance Van lines. The truck driver hired labor from craigslist at 20$ an hour to do the job, where I paid $5000/- for a one bed move ...thinking I am hiring professional movers!!! ABSOLUTE FRAUDSTERS!!
Max and his helper came to help my father and mother move. They were organized, cleaned and extremely professional. When they arrived I was kind of skeptical seen the amount of items that needed to be moved and the fact that there was only too workers. But they handled it all very well and efficiently. I would definitely recommend Alliance Van Lines. The crew was an absolute pleasure to work with and extremely professional.
Henry and his team are professionals; leave it to them to disassemble your furniture, move your large items & boxes and assemble your furniture at your new place. The team arrived promptly at our arranged start time. They had masks on the entire time and were friendly and courteous. Moving is so tricky, and they made it so much easier for us.
HORRIBLE experience. Contacted Alliance for an upcoming move. They gave a big speech about how there won’t be any hidden fees. I could pick the days of my move. Find out they are only a broker. Dispatched work order to a moving company. Both had rude people on the lines. There were hidden charges, did not get to pick one of my moving dates and my furniture was ruined. If you’re able to. Move yourself or make sure you are using an actual reliable mover.
Communication was always very good. William and his team delivered all our furniture on time. We also had bought new beds and for a small extra cost they agreed to dispose the old mattresses to save us a job. First class service and I would definitely recommend.
Alliance Van Lines did an outstanding job! Easton and his crew completely exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond! I shopped ten other movers, and they had the greatest total value for their hourly pricing. I strongly recommend these movers for all of your moving needs!
Great work! I opted for packing and moving services. The guys arrived near the beginning of the window they provided me. They were very courteous. After arriving at my new house, they unpacked the furniture quickly and cleaned up after themselves. Very polite, friendly, and clean.
Jack and his whole crew were fantastic! They were fast, efficient and very professional. One of the best work crews I've witnessed. We had a lot of items that were difficult to pack fitness equipment and workshop tools that they handled with ease. I would definitely recommend them again.
The move was booked quickly and easily, they were flexible with the parameters as our needs changed during preparing for the move, and they quickly answered any questions that came up during that time as well. The day of the move, the team showed up right on time and was ready to go. These men were AMAZING and we could not have asked for a better moving crew. I recommend them.
