Great place to go bouldering, close to the metro, clean and spacious
Let me preface, that I love allez up. Verdun is my home gym and the routes are always unique and the slabs are amazing. They by far in the recent months have been doing slabs the best of all the gyms in montreal. However, i have to say that the monthly pricing is unbelievably expensive now. Especially for the verdun location, which keeps losing its gym equipment. Everytime i go there is less and less available and its really sad. Right now the price point is way too expensive for what we get at verdun. We have a new spray wall which is cool. But we have no gym area and no moon boards. Along with the lack of promotions just makes this branch super uncompetetive. The route setters are amazing. My only note on them is that they dont place enough grey safety holds. The gym itself is clean and the staff is so friendly. But my qualm is more with the pricing. It's really disapppointing to see us getting less and paying more. I really hope that this is for a restructure of the gym. Although it seems that is going very very slow.
First experience was super fun! Addy was a great teacher for our 101 class and very informative and experienced! We definately want to come back! Was very fun but also for first timers: firearm wrecker loll a little unfortunate that there isn't more lvl1 wall paths for beginners, but was still fun and we're excited to get better :
I recently visited Allez Up Wall Climbing Gym for the second time, this time with my 15-year-old son, and we had a fantastic experience!nnThe staff were friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The facility is impressive, with a gym area where you can warm up and clean restrooms. We also appreciated the option to rent climbing shoes.nnThey have snacks available, which were perfect for refueling after our climbs. The overall vibe was pretty chill, and we really had a great time. I highly recommend Allez Up, especially for families looking for a fun and active outing. We can’t wait to return!
Wonderful place!!!!!!!nWent to try this for the first time and it was so fun.nThe staff was nice, instructive and friendly, the place is very clean and organizednnI went with my boyfriend so he could help me, he did not climb and he did not have to pay for any entrance, they let him be with my and assisted with anything.
