Allen County Public Library

Woah. What a busy library! We just moved here so thought I would take our two year old to explore. Staff is so friendly! Picked up the schedule of events and even a free book! The play area isn’t too impressive and is spread out, but still kept my toddler busy. There were just SO many kids and a family posted up in the corner just watching stuff on their phones with their little ones? Not sure what that was about but they were taking up a lot of space just to watch their phones .

Unfortunate that they wouldn’t let me book a study room when I’ve booked a room with them before. Very disappointing.

For a midsized city to have such an impressive library is a real asset for the people of Ft Wayne and Allen County.nI've never once not been able to find what I need. On those occasions I need assistance the staff is always extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly.nCouple these attributes with the many branch locations throughout Allen County for convenience and ACPL can't be beat!nIf I could give more than I certainly would!

The library itself is decent but it’s loud because people let their kids play super loudly and the staff doesn’t do anything about it. Every time I come here it’s super loud. If you are expecting to study, go somewhere else. You won’t be able to concentrate.
