Arrived here on a Saturday night for a 630 reservation. One gentlemen took our drink order and the chef came out to give our specials. Sounds great, right? Only problem is that the chef does not allow the server to take orders. 35 minutes later and we still did not have our order taken. It seems the chef ran the floor and did not allow the server to take orders. A table of two showed up after us and was sat down and had their orders taken right away. The chef then went and started cooking for them. One man operation??? Our family has been in the hospitality industry for over 40 years and we have never seen this kind of operation. Needless to say, we asked for the bill for our drinks and left. My father actually left a $10 tip on the $50 bill. 4 beers and two bottles of water that were already on the table and we did not ask for. The worst part of it was that the chef Tony said at the end that he doesn't think he did not do anything wrong. We kept our composure and did not want to put the chef down. We will not be back.
To be fair food was good. Service was good. Prices are very expensive but I’m not complaining as I was aware of it before going when I checked the restaurant online. What I didn’t like was that we were charged 10$ for a bottle of water that we didn’t even ask for and we didn’t even know we will be charged that, I didn’t notice that we were charged until after we left my wife told me. Anyway if you ever think of going and don’t wanna be scammed ask not to be served water in a bottle and if they have any special for the day ask how much it is because apparently they don’t have their specials on the menu so you don’t get surprised shocked at the end with the bill.
This fine dining restaurant has left us with the best impression. Hospitable hosts , delicious dishes, beautiful presentation , wide wine list and wonderful deserts. I recommend this place to anyone if you want the best food!
The Owner/Chef extraordinaire Tony and his server Rob were phenomenal! I have never been to a restaurant where the chef comes out to tell you the specials and sit with you. It was such a nice touch. And the food...OMG unbelievable! Thank you Tony and Rob. We found our forever place!
This restaurant is far from fine dining. Mediocre ambience, mediocre service, over priced specials $79 veal chop, $79 rib eye and a lousy wine selection. Local mediocrity at best. So many better choices for the money.
Incredible food. If you want a high class home cooked meal this is the place. Real authentic fine food. The owner Tony is the best
The most authentic and truly delicious Italian food I have been searching for in Bolton for years. The personal touch that the owner and his wife provided for us was superb. A lot of fancier and flashier restaurants in the area for sure, but this food cannot be beat. A truly special experience. Thank you Tony ! Everything was perfect. Grilled calamari to die for. Jumbo shrimp and mussels were INCREDIBLE.
Saturday night 7 PM we were the only customers in the entire restaurant. Tony sat us and brought us over a bottle of flat water as we sat down. Service was good. However, the food was a bit expensive for what it was. But overall, it was a nice experience. Until today, when we actually looked at the bill, we paid it blindly. We were charged $10 for the water. on the bill, it was listed as mineral water. However, the water tasted like regular tapwater, and I had made a comment to my husband that the bottle it came in, the label I had almost been washed off and that it would look better if they had taken the time to completely peel the label off. The condition of the label on the bottle tells me that the bottle had been refilled, most likely with tapwater. After seeing this unexpected charge on our bill that we were not told about and the water was brought to us without asking. we will not return. We’d love to be able to support local businesses but will not support businesses that tack on unnecessary charges, and a sneaky and deceptive way!
Nice ambiance. Gnocchi & Ravioli dish were swimming in sauce like a soup. Pasta taste, was fresh, just too much sauce. Wine good. Service great. Pricey for this quality.
Wonderful Italian cuisine, served up by the chef/owner Tony. Best pizza in Bolton.Authentic. Want a cheap meal of industrial chop, go somewhere else.
