The food was really good and definitely lived up to expectations, but the service unfortunately took away from the experience. Our waitress, Charlie, took way too long to bring out our food, and we were left waiting a long time just to get our checks. On top of that, we were seated right under the AC and were cold the entire time, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. The quality of the food was great, but the slow service and overall discomfort made the visit frustrating.
Not very impressed the waffles were pasty almost like they weren’t cooked properly. I had the fried chicken. It was fingers like the cheapest ones you could possibly find cartilage bits ewwww and potatoes were OK. The service was good. Coffee is not great kind of dirty and the seats are all torn up. Really makes you wonder how you could justify charging what you charge . Clean the Whisk chandelier please it’s kind of gross have to eat underneath it covered in dust.
The service here was not bad, but it wasn't great either. No one greeted us when we came into the restaurant, and no one took the effort to do so when we left the restaurant. The food was fine, the flavours were great and the portions were reasonable for the price but the fruits were all tasting horrible. The mango was insanely sour, the raspberry had a bit of a rancid taste to it and the melons were so old, the taste was also not very fresh.
I was pleasantly surprised. I assumed that the area would be very French but our server spoke perfect English. All the staff was very friendly. We both has scrambled eggs, potatoes, toast and bacon.nThe only issue was the eggs got cold quickly. Bacon was well done as requested.
First off, the front door is weird. As you enter, you are faced with the exit door. You have to move to the left to use the entrance door.nnThe AC was on way too high, and I'm not a usual complainer about it being cold, but it was way too cold, I could feel the draft at my feet, too. It's no fun. My friend told the waitress, she said she was going to do something about it, but I dont think she did. A couple away from us went to their car and walked back in with their coat! That should tell you how cold it was.nnThe menu? Complicated to me, does not explain well, and is SUPER PRICY! I couldn't believe it. Ordered a 20$ western omelet. It was very blend, tasteless except for the veggies that were inside.nnToast were cold with little to no butter on them. The mashed potatoes tasted and smelled weird like they had parmesan in them. I guess it really was the onions, but I had mashed potatoes with onions in them, and it tasted good, not bad like the ones I got.nnService was OK, but nothing impressive. I never got a refill of water, yet my friend got two refills of coffee at least.nnOne and done for me, I tried it, you guys suck at making breakfast, and it's a hard thing to miss, never again for me.
