That is very perfect noodle house without others. I took order for stew beef wheat noodle soup with snacks, Beef soup is very fragrant with tasty beef. At the meantime, the environment of restaurant so quit and gerouious, I love it.
My noodle loving son loved the beef stew soup. I had the pork rib noodles but definitely should’ve tried one of the spicer items. I loved the pickled radish. The staff was super friendly. Really want to try the spicy wontons next time.Food: 5/5
This is a small hidden gem. You will need to give it a try!!! Things are quite different under the new ownership, and it is definitely worth the try! Delicious noodles in a tasty broth with a variety of fresh vegetables and more!! It is seriously super yummy while being incredibly healthy at the same time. It is pretty rare to find a restaurant that is making a healthy meal that you fully enjoy eating! Great job! Plus it is even top notch quality for take-out food.
Alfy's Noodle House This restaurant is located south of the underpass on Waverley. There is ample parking and assisted entrance if needed. Once inside they have a hand sanitizer dispenser. The restaurant is bright and clean. You place your order at the back. The menu has a few simple choices and some add ons. We tried the Pork Spare Rib Noodle Soup and some Spring rolls. The noodles were very good. They were cooked perfectly and had a great taste and texture. The pork spare ribs were tender and fell off the bone. They didn't have a lot of gristle which was nice. The broth had a lot of flavour and the spring onion added but blended into the pork based broth rather then overwhelm it. The soup comes with a flavoured hard boiled egg. The egg once cut starts to infuse the broth with another level of flavour and texture, very yummy. The Spring Rolls were light had crispy. They tasted fresh and came with a good tasting plum sauce. They didn't cost too much and they were better than many others I've tried. They also supplied Chilli oil. It wasn't hot but had a good flavour. The menu is a little spartan with descriptions. They may have a hard time showing people what great food they have. Better descriptions and images would give people a clearer understanding of items they could order. The staff was friendly. Despite having a few other tables the restaurant wasn't noisy. If you are in the mood for Noodles in broth come check out Alfy's.
Both the soup and noodle dishes are delicious! The flavours are intense and their pricing is great, and even better if you get one of the deals that change regularly. The staff are friendly and it's a great place for either pickup/delivery or eating in.
The chilli oil is the best on the top of the spicy beef noodles. Strongly recommend when you don’t know where to go. Please check alfy’s spicy beef noodles with TWO cups of chilli oil!!!
My friend and I went there for a week. We liked it very much. The design in the store is amazingI think Alfy’s Noodle House is one of the best noodle restaurants in Winnipeg:
It’s best place to try Chinese foods, and my favorite foods is chili oil wonton, the pork filling is so fresh and tasty!! and the staffs are always friendly. I recommend everybody trying here’s food!
Have you ever been to Alfy’s Noodle House and tried their noodle soups? Their noodles are hand pulled and you’re able to control the spice level of the broth. . I was quite impressed with how delicious the broth was. I got the Beef Wheat Noodles and my friends got the Pork Wonton with Wheat Noodle and Beef Wheat Noodle with Pork Wontons. The beef itself was so tender it basically melted in my mouth. The wheat noodles had a great chew to it which I prefer. I got mine with level 2 spice since I wasn’t sure how spicy their level 5 was going to be. Next time I’d like to add wontons to my order and increase the spice level.
I have only tried their n° 1 beef noodle. The wheat noodle is good. The beef is well marinated. My friend, who had the beef rice noodles, did not like his noodles at all. Most of the noodle bowls come with veggies and meat. There are vegetarian options as well including the broth. I like how they allow you to choose the level of spiciness 1 to 5. Take in consideration that their default is 3. I can take it pretty well and I don't have high spiciness tolerance. The environment is cozy and fresh. You need to order your food in the counter first; and, they will delivery the food to your table.
