The servers are prompt and courteous. Outdoor seating is at a premium with a view of the lake and beach. The veggie burger was great. The place is comfy with large cabin style character. It has a variety of seating options.

Nice outdoor seating area. Came here with a group in our kayaks. Pulled them up on the beach and went up to the patio, to eat. Lots of sun umbrellas to provide a cool spot to sit when the sun is hot. Parking area adjacent the outdoor seating area - so if you have any valuables strapped to your vehicle, you can park it there and watch while you have your meal/beer, etc..

I have not gone to Alexander's in a long time and was pleasantly surprised by how good the food and service was. My server Rachel was positive and had an infectious smile. Food seemed to have improved too. Will be back soon!

I am not much of a complainer at all since I am a server myself but seriously this place is awful. Experience number 1 - while we are paying the server told us "you know you have to tip" not "what's your plans for the rest of your day" it was absolutely the most rudest thing I have ever seen in a restaurant.. we were going to tip until that happened.. she also complained the entire time that she was serving us drinks Experience number 2- so we decided to try this place again we are sitting out on the patio and at first the service was awesome! then all of sudden she just never came back to ask if we wanted refills walked by us several times and still nothing.. I asked her for a water and the bill and I watched her start bringing a water that I thought was mine and she drops it off at another table I waited 25 minutes to wait for a water and the bill I then ended up asking a different lady for the bill and she brought it right away This place has terrible service maybe it I was just un lucky twice but seriously I love coming here it is such a nice view right on the lake and the food has always been amazing!! it seems like they have there cooks and setting in the right spot but not the waitresses terrible front of house service

The decor is old and tired. The menu reflects the decor. Had a pint of beer and it tasted like the lines probably haven't been cleaned for years. Nice view of the lake and beach though.
