A beautiful public garden right next to the harbor. Plenty of areas to sit and picnic...

I can never get enough of how beautiful this garden is. It is a hidden paradise in a concrete jungle where you can indulge in a little 'promenade à l'anglaise' with your loved ones. In my case, I went with my toddler for a late afternoon chill out and it was not really of a promenade but more of a 'chasse à l'homme' :D
Very lovely park, lots of benches and places to sit; great place to take the dog for a walk or go for a picnic. I didn’t see any public washrooms or drinking fountains but it was very pleasant and quite lovely. Worth the trip if you’re in the area.
This is one the hidden gems of midtown.nThe park is relatively large and it connects with other green spaces. It is fantastic for an afternoon walk, for a jog or for walking with your dog. The entrance from Young St, the main entrance makes it feel like a real English garden behind an aristocrat country residence. In spring and during fall the park has a lot of colour and is very instegramable. Inside the park there are some other sports facilities that accommodate even those who go driving to a park.
Alexander Muir Memorial Garden is absolutely one of my favourite spots to visit, especially during the summer. This garden is stunning! The well-maintained grounds, lush greenery, and beautiful flowers make it a peaceful retreat in the middle of the city. It’s always such a joy to walk through, with so much natural beauty to take in. Whether you're relaxing on a bench, enjoying the vibrant flowers, or just taking in the fresh air, the atmosphere here is so calming and serene.nnThe park is also really well designed, with plenty of benches and quiet spots to sit and enjoy the surroundings. It’s an ideal place to have a picnic, with lots of open green space to spread out a blanket and relax. I’ve had some lovely afternoons here with friends, and it’s also a fantastic spot for a photoshoot—the landscape and gardens provide such a beautiful backdrop for pictures.nnI also appreciate how clean and well-kept the garden is. The staff clearly take pride in maintaining the space, and it really shows in how well everything is looked after.nnOverall, Alexander Muir Memorial Garden is a hidden gem that I can't recommend enough. It’s a wonderful place to spend time outdoors, whether you're looking to relax, have a picnic, or just enjoy a quiet moment. It’s truly a beautiful spot to escape to in the heart of the city!nnxx kellychan360
