I am Electrical contractor. working as a journey man. Alectra is the one of the worth to provide service for customers. Always I have problem with online form to upgrade the service. I reported but not any changes. wrong forms! problem with answering! No responsibility!
Nov 22,2022 at 11:20 am Alectra utilities not allowing me to see my bill by disabling my login. On calling customer service number they say we are overwhelmed with calls. Please do not call now. Call back later. I do not know how I’m going to pay my bill. Management needs to improve Customer service experience. There is no phone number or option to deal with customer login issues.
During mid September 2022, a unit representing Alectra, came and made some work on our neighbourhood replacing the generator Since then, after finishing this job, they left some equipment on our front-yard and never came back to pick up. Address is 155 Grand Valley Blvd and 33 Manda Drive, both on Maple, Ontario I have tried to call Alectra many times but cant get in touch with someone responsible for that Please come and pickup your staff, winter is coming and the snow will cover them, Thank you in advance,
Worst utility company. Talked to couple customer service people, they keep telling you that your issue will get fixed and turned out it’s all lies. They eventually called me and told me the solution provided before does not count.
Quite possibly, one of the most inept companies I have ever dealt with. They are astoundingly awful when it comes to billing, customer service, and communication. I moved 2 years ago from one house to another. I did everything online as told by the company. I had e-billing since day one and never opted for paper bills ever in my life. I was sent a final paper bill to the old address I had moved out of and never got it, for obvious reasons, even still, why send a paper copy when I have always had e-billing? This $50 went to collections after a year of not being paid had no idea I even had to pay it because I NEVER got it. After clearing up that mess with collections and Alectra, I thought I was fine. A few months later, my payments which never had an issue before this were magically going to the old address account even though the account number on my online banking was the same account number as my NEW address. I had amassed a credit of $300 once I figured it out, not them. It has taken almost 3 weeks to have that credit applied to my new account which isn't new, it's two years old. This morning I Called and they claimed I cashed the cheque! I have proof and I am sure they do too that this NEVER happened. I called my bank to have proof on my end ready. This company is backward and since COVID and working from home, they have gone downhill. I am not paying a single bill until this is fixed. Cut me off, I have a generator. This is unacceptable customer service. I was assured I would be called by a supervisor on multiple occasions. Never happened. Terrible.
Terrible company. Slow to respond. A power outage that they can’t fix for over two days. They are not even aware of the power outage in our area because we are not even on their map. Tried to call but office is called for the weekend. Unbelievable. A situation like this requires someone to be in the office to answer calls and inquiries. Absolutely worse company. I can’t believe that I have to complain about the lack of competence of this company.
The persons who responded to my calls were some of the politest, most knowledgeable and helpful. It is rare to get such wonderful and efficient service in Canada these days. Keep up the good work Powerstream. Help Alectra, your parent company get some better review stars. Set an example. A request - Many customers are confused between Powerstream and Alectra. Can the sites help explain or re-direct customers based on their requirements?
Why do unscrupulous companies like this one take longer to get shut down for fraud! Not to mention their mindless CUSTOMER SERVICE agent, they are oblivious to what CUSTOMER SERVICE means. Rude disgusting set of agents and their rudeness is always uncalled for. If you don’t like your jobs go be jobless with that nasty low value attitude. Why should delivery charge be $60 while the use is $30 make it make sense, this company needs to be shut down expeditiously and builders need to stop helping these nasty individuals to scam condo owners. -100 need to be a star option, this company is not even 1 star worthy
My House had flickering lights since I moved into a new house in July. After a few failed appliance / Electronics - ALECTRA™ the Power company confirmed my house WAS NOT GROUNDED PROPERLY. Looks like Platinum Electric and Great Gulf Homes failed to provided a properly grounded house and after a failed attempt to fix it - they are saying its something they WONT FIX. See photo from the utility company's third test. Anyone else have these issues with GREAT GULF PM me! See the video from Alectra™ after the third time the builder and Platinum tried to fix the problem: Alectra was very responsive and came 3 time in 24 hrs!!!!
HORRIBLE! If I could give 0 stars I would. Do not work with them, any other company will provide better service! I called twice and both times they were extremely rude, very unprofessional, and clearly lacked the proper training to answer questions. We have already paid for a service to be completed at our property and they have never followed up or gave proper instructions as to what needs to happen. Apparently they outsource to this company called Somerville that required further information before they could proceed, yet they failed to tell me that company's full name. So I am unable to even Google the company or reach out to them and ask what information is required. They claimed on their end they've reached out to our builder, which is false as we've received no information as of yet. They also will not come to maintain any trees that touch their powerlines, creating a safety hazard. They simply do not care at all about their customers and just avoid responsibility completely.
