The amazing Alcool NB Liquor in Saint John has hired the aces!nI asked for the domestic products and the local beers, the gentleman wisely escalated to a more knowledgable beautiful lady and her advice is astonishingly amazing to me.nThe local products taste way way better than what I have ever experienced in maritime.nThey also promoted an Australian Shiraz wine and it technically tastes and smells like my beloved aunt's wine back home.nBest of luck but please have a sign right next to the door to make sure smokers don't make your customers bothered with the smell.
They're always kind and respectful here. Great recommendations. Tried the Sake Bomb, and it is delicious!!nI wish there was more knowledge about different alcohol itself, like no one talks about the reasons fancy expensive stuff is actually more expensive for a good reason. Expensive Scotch takes less to give u what ur looking for, u can sip on it all night rather than drinking shots, and u don't get a headache. The longer something is aged, the less sugar content, and the sugar is what makes you hungover. This sort of thing. German alcohol I've heard is clean and doesn't cause problems like we get here in North America. The different ingredients things are made of can cause different effects. We know nothing about any of this. It's all about flavor, pretty much. #Learning
Love this place. Staff is awesome
Love this new store. A superb improvement from the old digs. Large cold room, greatly improved wine and spirits selection and ample parking. Folks who attend Saint John Sea Dogs games need to kindly stop parking in this lot. I wish they hours were expanded back to closing at 10pm.
Really nice selection and free parking.
