Been going here since I was a kid I grew up in the area. Alot has changed there since then, when it comes to safety and also new pathways for hiking. I love the Falls, there is plenty of parking, also a great spot for a first date. I enjoying biking through the trails in the nice weather they have awesome trails that are maintained. There is a few Outlook decks to see the Falls from a safe distance. If you explore around the area you will find your own favorite spot to go and relax. It's a nice place to go for a morning hike, or an evening date, or just relax and take in the scenery of the Falls.
It’s a nice fall, but I think the season matters! We saw a smaller size fall from far. Good thing is parking available next to the look out, and almost no walking necessary. Very accessible for kids. We enjoyed the nice weather and greeneries around, there are some trail to walk more.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
An hour’s drive from Etobicoke leads you to Albion Falls. Hamilton houses several waterfalls in close vicinity and this fall though can’t be accessed closely is viewed better from two lookout points. Ample parking facilities. If time permits visit nearby falls too. Enjoy the small trail adjoining the falls site of half an hour to and fro. Though it doesn’t takes you to any falls, the exit at Devil’s cup bowl is interesting. Enjoy.
The falls are great to explore in autumn. Unfortunately it is not easily accesible and the nearby trail is surrounded by a road so it is not connected to anything. There are several parking lots and it's free. Very convenient and accessible of the highway and there is transit nearby.
this beautiful waterfall is closed on the lower platform. everything is surrounded by a fence, nothing can be seen from above. only a small part is visible from above. why do you cover all the beauty of the waterfall, you need to look at it only from below. our trip did not bring any pleasure, all the waterfalls are not accessible, or partially.
Beautiful fall. Please be aware that access to fall has been closed from 2017 after multiple injuries and deaths near the fall. The pictures of the falls where people are near the falls are very old and the route to the falls are now closed for safety reasons. You can enjoy the view from lookout point and Parking is limited. Attaching the photos of fall from lookout point.
Albion falls is good however the trail is lovely. The trail isn’t steep and is senior citizen friendly as well. We felt fresh and rejuvenated as we were surrounded by lush green trees. We are coming here again to see the fall colors. There were not many people there so we got the parking immediately. There is no parking fee.
A small yet beautiful place to spend some time admiring nature on a Saturday afternoon. Trekking route also there. Don't expect it to be a mini Niagara falls, but for what it's worth, it really does give you nature's beauty, perfection, color, greenery, soothing sounds and relaxing ambience right next to hustle and bustle of city roads. If coming from far off areas then you may enjoy more by adding other Hamilton attractions to your visit, as your kids may think it's too small a place to enjoy for whole day after a long journey back and forth. But for locals it is a nice place to spend weekend. Unfortunately, due to irresponsible behavior by visitors in recent past, the close and deep down approach to the falls has been closed for public safety from 2017. Still its a beautiful waterfall even when looked from slight distance. Has FREE parking spaces available, sitting points at different angles and levels.
It's probably the best waterfall that you'll find in Hamilton and it's picturesque no doubt, but when we visited this place couple of weeks back we found you're not allowed to go to the bottom of this waterfall, so you need to see this from a faraway distance, the way you see in these attached pictures. Btw the place has got quite a few parking spots and we faced no issues in that regard.
Plentiful parking and easy access. The lookout platforms had decent views but can be somewhat obstructed by foliage. The trails were shaded and an easy stroll. Keep your eyes open for small wildlife that did not appear alarmed by quiet talking.
