Very bad customer service! I came in at 6:32 pm and they were closed at 6:30. Even though it was my first time to this lab and I came all the way from south Edmonton to specially this lab. It took to 2 mins late, just to find this place and the staff was very rude. They didn’t even want to listen. They were just fed with their words that they wanted to say. Very disappointed!nnNot recommend this place ever.
I always have a pleasant experience with the staff at this lab. They are friendly & get you through your appointment as quickly/efficiently as possible. If you have never been to this location, the first time can be a little tricky. The sign for DynaLIFE is on the building facing a main road, but the entrance to the lab is actually through the main building doors on the opposite side. There is plenty of parking and the building is wheelchair accessible.
The staff is nice and respectful, collection is quick. But otherwise they are extremely slow. The wait will say 30 minutes and you end up waiting an hour. They don't seem to care to get people in and out quickly.
It was dark, very dark, the temperature was -27C and I was finishing a long day at work. I had one more chore to do - Bloodwork at DynaLife. Usually I go to the lab at Synergy but they close at 6:00 and I knew I could not get there in time so I thought I would try the lab on Athabasca. Never there before, I turned down Kaska Dr. The streets were dark. I couldn’t find the lab! There is no sign! Darn it all!!!! But then I happened to see a dark outline of the sign so parked there. Now I can’t find the door! It’s -27C and I am getting cold, the door was on the OTHER side of the building.nSo I go inside, checked in, and told the front desk that the sign was out. She thanked me and then gave a sigh that said it all. “Yeah, I’ll say something but management could care less.”nThe lab tech drawing the blood was fantastically pleasant, I wish I got her name. She has excellent customer skills.nnYes, I would return knowing where to go now.nBut seniors definitely need to go during the daylight.nnBTW- The photos show it much brighter than the eye sees it.
What’s the point of making an appointment if you’re going to blow the time? Manage your list better. Appointments should be priority and seen within a few minutes of their time, not waiting just as long as the wait times.
