We had a wonderful time with our two small children. Our youngest didn’t enjoy the train robbery as it was happening but says he liked the cowboys. Loved all the little bits of history aboard the train. One car was used in the movie Legends of the Fall. Thank you again to the Trainman who was extra kind to us. Wonderful staff all around on this experience. Can’t wait to come back to try Polar Express!
It is an awesome way to spend a day learning about how the railway used to be the main mode of travel. There's lots of entertainment on the trip, and lots of things to see and do when you get there. It is very family oriented but great for adults as well. It is a little expensive, but well worth the cost. Price includes the trip on the train, entertainment, a delicious meal, which includes complimentary wine or beer, and games to play after the meal! Oh, and you get to experience a hold up on the trip, where your money is collected, and donated to charity!nWell organized and lots of fun! 100% recommended to go!
What an awesome time! The entire event was so well done. The entertainers were spot on, the train crew welcoming and had lots of information about the area and its history. The lunch at Big Valley was excellent. All in all, highly recommended! And a train robbery to boot!
Was looking for a great way to celebrate my father’s 88th birthday, found it! The train trip and staff, prime rib dinner and all the entertainment was first rate. Looking for a unique experience this is it.
We just did the teddy bear train ride to the hideaway and all I can say is what an awesome experience for the kids! I highly recommend this trip. The staff put so much effort into every little thing, and there was so much to do. It was really really really good, and we will do it again most certainly. Also, the food far surpassed my expectations and it was really wonderful that it was a buffet style and available the entire time we were there. Everything was so good!
