The Most Magical Christmas Experience!nnWe just returned from our family trip on the Polar Express with Alberta Prairie Railway in Stettler, and it was truly a 5-star experience! From start to finish, the event was perfectly executed and absolutely magical.nThe attention to detail was incredible. The vintage train cars were beautifully decorated with lights, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere—perfect for snuggling under our blanket while enjoying the delicious hot chocolate and cookies just like in the movie!.nThe staff, including the conductor, were fantastic and brought so much energy to their roles. The highlight, of course, was Santa's visit to our seats. Seeing the pure joy on my children's faces as they received the first gift of Christmas bell was priceless.nThe station and town of Stettler were also beautifully decorated, adding to the whole festive atmosphere. If you are looking for an unforgettable and authentic family Christmas tradition, I highly recommend booking tickets for the Alberta Prairie Railway Polar Express. We can't wait to ride again next year!
Loved the experience for my children! I did expect it to be more theatrical. Instead of the music over the system I expected more real singing from the staff. The 4 seater seats are pretty tight. There was a point when they get you to listen to the story and someone walks around with a book. This section of the show needs to be adjusted I found it odd. You couldn’t hear the story and then you’re just looking at some pictures. Overall, I would recommend it but I’d say it’s something you just do once.nnAsk if the carts are different because ours didn’t look like some of the pictures!nnWe stayed at the Ramada, Boston Pizza was a 2 minute walk and it’s a 5 minute drive to the train. The pool is 4.5 ft at its deepest. The slide covered extends outside. We made it a mini family getaway.nnBring a blanket it makes it comfy!nnLoved the ornament as a keepsake. We collect ornaments from our family adventures and I loved this!nnIt would be cool if rather than a mug in case you didn’t want that, instead they offer you a selection to choose from.
We have come to the Polar Express at least 5 times over the last 10 years. The kids love it! The staff are very friendly and get into character! Great Christmas Memories!
The Polar Express experience was amazing, we took a ride to the north pole and we got to see Santa's workshop from the window, we drank hot chocolate and had some cookies. Bring a blanket, it gets cold!.
My in-laws took the whole family on the Polar Express and everyone had a great time. The ladies on our coach were amazing with everyone, in fact all the actors where great. A great experience for any age.
