Excellent work and service! Many thanks to Kassandra who provided great service in helping me choose out new laminate flooring for two basement rooms. They were able to accommodate my installation schedule. The quality of the installation crew was awesome, they were quick and professional. Highly impressed and happy with the product and service.
A big Thank you to Alberta Hardwood especially our sales person Dean and our Installer Russ. We just had our entire main level done in vinyl planking and it looks fantastic. Dean made 2 trips to our home to measure and came back with the installer to go over the job. Our installer Russ was amazing with great efforts spent on detail with perfect end results. We could not be happier with our new flooring and will for sure use Alberta Hardwood in the future.
I purchased the Mirage Red Oak Natural Hardwood for our livingroom and bedrooms. I also purchased the Mohawk Pebblestone Vinyl for our kitchen. The floors were install from Alberta Hardwood in October 2020. Dean was thorough with the quote and made sure the install was right and looked great. Russ removed the old and installed the new flooring and he did a great job. He came early everyday and finished the job early and right. I absolutely love the floors. I have attached some before and after photos. Thank you.
This is our forth time in using Alberta Hardwood. Three times with 100% actual hardwood flooring and this time with floor tiles, kitchen backsplash and fireplace and every time the outcome was excellent. I would highly recommend this company for any flooring jobs. Kassandra, our sales & design person, is very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and sociable. Jason, the Installation & Service Manager, bent over backwards to make sure any problems that might occur were taken care of immediately and that we had the best of the best. The installers, Juri & Vdol were 2 of the best in the business. Plus they work for Alberta Hardwood. You just don't get handed a bunch of cards of different installers to pick from like other tile stores do.The floors look awesome. 5 stars.
I have worked with this company for 15 years on home improvements. They have always brought in great people but the team that did my kitchen hardwood were superb. They were professional, respectful, had a plan and problem solved beautifully. They included me in everything. And if it's possible to have fun with your house in shambles, we did!
Wanted plush and squishy carpet to greet our feet every morning. Wanted an updated and neutral look. Wanted top quality products. Wanted installers that were polite, professional and tidy. Wanted a schedule that accommodated our needs and fit our timeline. Got it all and more at Alberta Hardwood. Thanks Darci and her installation team!!
Normally I do not get involved, but the Owner wrote this in response to JanssenFromCanada my nephew who we did not ask to write a review, but felt it was necesssary. Owner: "There was confusion regarding the areas of work. The homeowner assumed we were supplying flooring in their office; however, it was not listed on the quotation. There was however discussion of potentially installing the office, the Alberta Hardwood Flooring salesperson never listed this or included this on the quotation to the homeowners. The homeowner was obviously surprised & upset when this area wasn’t completed. Management was out of town but did reach out to the customer within 48 hrs., we offered to provide flooring materials in the office for no charge, they declined, and took to social media attacks." To set the record straight One, we did not take to media attacks, the only attacks that were made were by the Owner screaming at my wife over the phone, over a bad review for 10 minutes. Threatened to put a lien on the house even though we were fully paid. Two. no one ever offered to provide flooring, what we were provided was a quote for over $5000 to do our office and black splash in the kitchen, zero discount. Three, two people from this company came out and measured two different times, somehow both missing the office. The people who did all the other hardwood in the house saw the ripped out flooring everywhere including the office. We were only made aware of the shortage of wood at the very end of the project. Four, I asked 3 other business owners, commercial and residential, large and small, and they all came back unanimous that the cost of the office installation and hardwood should be split 50-50. I mentioned this to the sales rep who engaged with management and they came back with the full price quote. No one is slandering your company, we are just calling as we see it, and from the facts above people can draw their own conclusions. Instead of taking the reviews so personal, maybe take the time to improve on contracts that have not went so smoothly.
We ordered vinyl plank flooring from Alberta Hardwood for our home renovation. Their showroom is beautiful! Dean was excellent to work with, was easy to contact, and went above and beyond to meet our needs. The pricing was also exceptionally reasonable in comparison to some of the other local flooring stores we had checked out. We would absolutely recommend Alberta Hardwood to anyone!
We recently went to Alberta Hardwood Flooring as we wanted to replace carpet on our stairs, great room, den and hallway. With the help of Dean Dawson we chose a Windsor Red Oak Hardwood floor Made in Canada! On installation day their installer Russ came in and proceeded to remove the carpet and install the hardwood. I have to say, Russ is a true craftsman and takes great pride in his trade. He was very, very well organized. There were some challenging angles but like a true craftsman his work turned out to be beautiful. Great job Alberta Hardwood!
We truly enjoyed working with Dean Dawson and team at AB Hardwood. What we expected was equal to what we were promised and all equal to what was done. Great team, well-rounded and exceptionally organized.
