Had our windows installed 13/03/23 and could not be happier with how things turned out! Paul was wonderful to deal with during the ordering process and Peter and his crew did an outstanding job during install. They were incredibly professional, polite & no mess was left behind! The guys worked hard and it shows in a job well done! Would highly recommend Albern windows and doors to anyone looking to have their windows replaced! Awesome job guys & thank you again!
Bay window replacement in bedroom. Paul was our sales contact, very professional, no pressure just supplied quotation and suggestions. Peter and his team did our installation today. Again very professional, extremely careful inside our home, protecting all areas while working. Outside they spent a lot of extra time and care to be sure it looked right. Clean up was complete. Have used Albern before and would use them again. Very satisfied.
Great, Great company! Nicely appointed showroom with fabulous product choices. The entire staff are wonderful to deal with and truly make you feel like family. My husband and I ordered a new exterior front door for our home from Paul. Great personable guy! Lori his wife and their son, whom I also dealt with are also wonderful people. I own an Interior Design firm and I am so happy to be working with a local business and know that we will have a very long business relationship.
We came across Albern Windows and Doors when we were looking for Emtek hardware to purchase for our home. My husband went into the showroom and picked up some brochures for doors while he was there. From the initial inquiry to the design and installation of our front door, our experience was fantastic! We never felt rushed or pressured to spend more than we wanted. We were given edited photos of our home so that we had an idea of what the finished products would look like once installed. Thanks, Jeff! The installers were were considerate and non-instrusive. Thanks, Tom and Nathan!!! Yes, it’s pricey but we had such a good experience that we ended up having 5 windows replaced and installed by them.

Sent the sliding door in the wrong colour. Installed it and then sent someone to paint it after the install and of course the paint is not standing up. The internal blinds no longer work and at the time of purchase they claimed it was a 'lifetime guarantee', they are not honouring that. Now I ask how much it would be to replace the window panel with the blind that won't work, and they say I need to buy a whole new sliding door unit. They said they would give me a good price and then never called back.
I have a solarium built by a long gone company. About 15 years ago about half 9 of the sealed units had failed. I got Albern to replace them. They did a great job and since then none of those have failed. Now that last of the originals have failed and I just got Albern to replace the rest 10. This is a tough job as there is no frame on the windows that you can come and just unscrew the old one and screw in the new one. Each sealed unit fits in a ledge in the wood. You must painstakingly remove all the old trim and caulk before you can lay in and caulk the new ones. It took 2 days to do the 10 windows. The two installer did an amazing job and it looks great. I am very happy with the results.
I previously purchased and had installed a storm door from Alberns and the service and product were both excellent!! More recently i needed a small but necessary repair so i got in touch with Paul the owner. He immediately ordered the parts and as soon as they came in he himself was at my door doing the repair which took about an hour. Upon completion, he would not accept payment. Excellent after sales service!! Ok
My wife and I really did our research before choosing a window and door company for our home. As soon as we walked in the doors at Albern we were made to feel like family. The whole process went so well from the beautiful showroom, knowledgeable salesman, friendly office staff and exception installation team. Thanks Albern for a job well done. We will definitely be returning when more work is required.
Okay so Paul was very nice and had some good ideas but they did not pan out well. One door opened out and the other in leaving a cramped weird feeling. They referred me to a finance company that approved me and disappeared so I was left scrambling to make my own arrangements. DO NOT USE THEIR FINANCE COMPANY!!! The delivery date was WEEKS after the date promised. The installer was a very nice man but he cracked three of my ceramic kitchen tiles installing the doors. No wonder since he was expected to do a two man job with one guy. The money person demanded full payment before I could get home from work and look at the job. In the end the doors are good quality but I am stuck paying to have my tiles repaired.
