Parking entrance is a bit awkward. There was litter in the pavements, and no easy outlook points facing the river which was a disappointment since ricer was beautiful. Rest all was perfectly fine. There was a USS warship parked at the end of the trail so was good to see that.
Great location to come for a walk, jog, ride a bike, take pictures, look at the swans, and enjoy the view. I am sure this place looks better in Spring and Summer. We came to visit when it was still winter, and it was very cold. We were unable to enjoy it more.
Nice spot on the river. Was going to park there for a long ride on the Mohawk Hudson bike trail but parking is restricted to 3 hours during the week, had to look elsewhere.
Much better than I thought it would be. Happy they made the recent improvements.
I love this place. Spin Jam holds a special piece of my soul. Alive @ 5 is cool and all. We all love a free concert or 7, but the light shows each tuesday night is really what keeps me coming back. Here's why:

Love riding my bike at the Corning preserve. They really need to fix the veins coming through the pavement near Watervliet.
This is a nice place to go whether for, fishing, a walk, bbq or just being by the water w/ the fam ... A sweet spot to try out
