A high quality monument to signal the start of the mighty ALASKA HIGHWAY!
Pleasant stopping point. Large parking lot - great for turning RV around. Memorial to the missing Indigenous children on grounds when I was there - many, many pairs of children's shoes. Heart-wrenching.
Must go and take pics once you drive Alaska hwy. It is on visible place, you cannot miss it

My second time here this year. The Dawson Creek Visitor Centre is awesome.
Easy parking for the must have while passing thru Dawson Creek. Nice visitor s center and museum. Wonderful art studio next door. Would have picked up many unique and beautiful items if I had not been traveling.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
