Went here based off reviews on google. Place was very cold inside. Table/seating bench was pretty dirty. Ordered two meals that included a salad or soup, not both. The salad aside from being very small was actually pretty good. The pita bread and hummus was decent and pita tasted on the fresher side. Let's just jump right into the whole review. Waitstaff was one person, while he was not verbally rude, he did not have a very welcoming vibe about him. He Did not ask if we needed the normal refill and kept walking away before we could ever ask him for anything. The main reason for the 1 star was the price for service and quality at the place itself. To pay $46 before tip or $55.00 for pretty much 1.5 cups of rice and 8 oz of combined protein serving for both meals together not separately, was not very much value. Both salad and soup served where a bit small for the price on menu. The kabobs and skewers where cut into half or where served as the smallest portions of kabob I have yet to be served to date. For fully priced menu option if $24.00 It was a big let down when the waiter brought a few bits of each and the plate was empty. We are on the lighter side as far as body weight goes so for two people to feel hungry after a full meal speaks alot. We had drove 45 minutes to dine in and brought our 2 year old + 9 month for his birthday. Thankfully he did not eat but there would have had to been an additional order placed had he even wanted the smallest bite. The beef shwarma was not at all authentic and we did not finish or enjoy it at all. It did not have a good presentation and the taste was very off from shawarma spices of authentic Mediterranean food. Overall the service was poor and the one wait staff didn't do much to add any hospitality points. The food was not what authentic Mediterranean food and the atmosphere normally feels like. If your plan was to bring a family to dine and leave full and feeling happy. This place was not it. Portions and quality where just way off for it to make sense. Fix the portions or adjust price to accommodate the quality along with portions and maybe get some better inside atmosphere going on. The food also needs reflect the style of cuisine and it did not.
My wife's been going here since her college days and wanted to take me. We had a really great time very friendly staff and owners. I had the chicken kebab wrap which was great. My wife had the eggplant stew would she loves it's one of her favorites. I want to try their falafel some a la cart and it's great here. Also the hummus and garlic sauce are phenomenal. Looking forward to our next visit and would definitely recommend.
Everything was delicious! Fresh salads, loved the tabbouleh. Chicken and steak shawarma were fantastic, and the accompanying rice was standalone delicious. Medium french fries were fresh, hot, crispy and plentiful for sharing. Loved the hummus and pita bread that came with the meal. The staff was friendly and attentive. All-around a great experience.
This is a small business but a really good one. Their food will never disappoint. The service is always friendly and most helpful. Great Mediterranean cuisine! Vegetarian options: Many options with their menu. Parking: Right out in front! Wheelchair accessibility: Flexible seating...accessible. Dietary restrictions: Variety of food that is made to order.
My wife and I LOVE the Mediterranean menu at Alladin. ALL of our favorites are served in authentic fashion. The Kebabs are a favorite because of the char broil and perfect spicing. And of course the delicious pastries like Bird Basket and a great way to top off a perfect meal.
Pretty good Mediterranean food for the price. The humus is excellent and they give you plenty along with much fresh pita bread. Some places skimp on the pita Aladdin's does not. The real deal Mediterranean coffee is one of my personal favorites in the Lansing area. I appreciate the refills are free. Staff is friendly along with good service. I'm leaving 4 stars as opposed to 5 due to the uncomfortable both seats and the place has deferred maintenance/updates on the decor.
I typically only order carry out, but always tastes fresh and is quick. Prices have gone up and pretty much is on par with any other middle eastern place in townFood: 5/5
I was craving Chicken Schwarma so we made a first-time stop to Aladdin's. Disappointed to say the least! It did not taste nor look like any of the Chicken Schwarma's that I've had in the past. The restaurant itself is dirty and service is lackluster.
Always a treat to eat here. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
Yum! My husband and I popped in for a quick lunch on a Saturday and it was perfect! Food was delicious. Staff was friendly, helpful, and service was fast. You can’t beat it, especially for the fair prices.Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
