Food was excellent, and very well priced. Chowder was creamy and full of clams. The cornbread in the stuffed haddock was a delightful twist; my father raved about the quality and quantity of shellfish in his stew. I'll definitely be returning.
I had grilled salmon with a side of lemon and capers sauce on the side with a baked potato and warm roll and coleslaw. It was delicious and at 5 PM it was pretty empty for a Friday night but it has a nice warm fire there and you can even have a glass of wine.
Food is typically pretty good... but would definitely avoid the lobster roll. Low quality meat chopped into tiny pieces on a very bulky roll. Worst I’ve had on the seacoast. Everything else is good though.
WOW! Al's is DELICIOUS!! fresh seafood fried to a real golden brown. Twice we've had the fried lobster and seafood plate and both times were absolutely fabulous. The portion of lobster was plentiful. The onion rings were great as well. Will absolutely eat here again.
The quality of the seafood in their market. I was married to a commercial fisherman on Cape Cod and I have worked in Research and Development in the seafood industry. I promise you that's seafood is as good as it gets.
Excellent. Fast service. Lobster stew, chowder , fried oysters and lobster roll. Would make trip back to NH just for this place.
