Al-Amaan Center

Amazing Community center that always promotes peace and understanding. Very knowledgeable Imam whose teachings are always comprehensive and insightful. Spotless clean establishment and facilities. Ample of parking and prayer room. Overall tremendous complement and treasure to the city of Minnetonka and neighboring suburbs. Weekly Friday prayers and lectures that are streamed live via zoom and YouTube. For those who chose to attend the prayers, strict health guidelines and social distancing measures are followed. Namely, everyone is required to have their temperature taken, to wear a mask and to have their own prayer rug as well as stand 6 feet away from other worshipers. Prayer spots are clearly marked to make sure adherence to those measures.

Al-Amaan, which the name means safe and tranquil, is a masijd mosque, with a welcoming community and an imam religious leader who is knowledgeable and friendly. The center is big clean and organized. If you are in the area you should stop by.

Conveniently located at juncture of Minnetonka, Eden Prairie and near Edina, Hopkins - Al Amaan is an Islamic Centre with lot of community work done here. Committee members are very warm and welcoming and Resident Scholar is easily available for any questions or concerns from any one across religion. Bridges for Peace is one of great multi religious event this centre holds, making this place accessible for people across spectrum.

I attend this community everyday and I fee blessed to live in the neighborhood of such great Islamic Center. Thanks to the management for keeping it always organized and clean I know how had this is during pandemic, the parking is the best and the Friday sermons of Sheikh Jamal are life changing.

This Mosque is very nice and clean. Lots of people coming here for Salat. I like like crowds in Mosques. Not only this Mosque I love all the Mosque in the world.Every Mosques in the world are the best place for the Muslim. This the best place where Allah take care us. I like this place. I will visit again very soon. Allah please accept me and all of my Muslim brothers and sisters Amin

With do respect. I don't agree the notion, they seem entertaining that mosque, that says clean well behaved mask wearing child should not be with thair parents in the main hall, because of health risks or as imam but it covid 19 risk. I sincerely believe, it's terrible ill conceived idea, that makes a caring goodroll model parents as irresponsible. Iinking children as some sort of super virus spreaders who should be no closer than dark unfurnished no carpet back rooms. Therefore my best wishes is, common sense will prevail sooner than later and this disrespecting think will be dropped and everybody will be praying for everyone else health wellbeing.

Masha Allah good place to pray

Warm and welcoming community, beautiful and spacious prayer area, and many amazing learning opportunities ranging from halaqas to weekend religious school. Truly a wonderful Masjid and Community Center.

Alhamdulillah. The khutbah was very good and I enjoyed being in the company of so many brothers, Masha'Allah.
