Driven from Vancouver to Langley to try their limited oyster ramen. Even around 4 PM there was already a line outside. Service was friendly and efficient.nThe oyster ramen was excellent. Rich chicken broth with two large oysters and oyster paste that adds another layer of flavor when mixed in.nI would come back again for their future limited ramen.
Love the food, and the service.nThe staffs were checking on us constantly but not annoying.nI had Black, and my wife had White. Both broths are great but very distinct taste. And the portion size is very fulfilling.nPersonally, I liked the Pork Chashu over Chicken Chashu. But they were both tender and scrumptious.nGyoza was good, but the Chicken Karaage was amazing!nOverall, great service and food. But make sure to join the waitlist via their website before you go to avoid the waiting.nAnd make sure to check their market beside. Lots of cool stuff while waiting.
Ramen is hella good. Except i think they put lil too much green onion, so be aware. And do get kaedama extra noodle as you order and put it in right away when the bowl of ramen is served to you. If not, the noodle will clump up and youll have no soup at the end to relax the noodles which means youd have to order extra soup as well.. but are you that rich..? nnThe gyoza was 3 pork or chicken and 3 kimchi flavor // quite pricey for the size and amount of gyoza. But ofc it tastes good. Feel like i shouldve gotten karaage.. well ig next time
We dine here weekly and usually enjoy the in person experience. Today I was unwell, so we ordered takeout instead. Unfortunately, they spent nearly 10 minutes arguing with my husband over their small condiments that are unlimited for dine-in customers, saying they’re “too expensive” to include with takeout unless we paid extra. The lady with the thunder tattoo explained the cost of the small plastic container to my husband. This has never happened with us ever in any restaurant. Do you charge less for takeout items if you don't offer the condiments then? I don't think so. After a lot of back and forth, they finally gave them, but the whole interaction felt unnecessary, rude, and disappointing. It really took away from our otherwise positive experiences. At the very least, extend that courtesy to your loyal customers instead of repeatedly complaining about the cost. Won't be recommending this place ever again.
I ordered the Meat Lovers Black with Spicy Chilli Paste and egg. I must say that this is the best Ramen I have had so far. It is served with slices of chicken and pork chasu, and veggies on a flavourful umami broth, which the noodles absorbed, making each bite so good. We also tried the karaage, well-seasoned crispy chicken bites served with two types of salt on the side. And lastly, their seasonal offer, the Matcha Float, was the perfect dessert drink. It's a creamy iced matcha drink topped with their yummy vanilla ice cream. Will definitely be back!
