Loved the food... specially Goat Raan Biryani and Chicken Dum Biryani. The Goat Raan Biryani needs to be ordered 24 hours in advance and is really spectacular
I've been here quite a few times over the years since they opened. This place never disappointed once with food or service. Food is, first and foremost, of excellent quality. So much so that now I'm comparing other similar Indian places to Akbar's to see how they measure up. Staff is very friendly. Highly recommend!

Our go to for Indian food in Kitsilano. We get take out from them multiple times a year. Staff and owners are always so welcoming and the food is great.
We have been going to this restaurant for years. I moved out of the neighbourhood yet always made a trip to hold our family gatherings here. I've tried Indian food in many other places but Akbar's quality really stands out.
