I’m very late giving out this review, but I feel that when you are looked after well, you must give credit where credit is due. I was recommended by a friend about this place. My spouse, Mike was cremated in November of 2022, so over three years ago. The staff were very good and professional. They helped me, with no pressure involved with making his arrangements. They were kind and I felt they genuinely cared about my needs. They were organized and the arranging process was simple I was very satisfied with everything they did for me at a very difficult time. Thank you for the excellent service and keep up the good work.nnDavid
I would highly recommend having your departed loved one’s farewell and final arrangements with the Ajax Crematorium & Visitation Centre. The staff were professional, compassionate and patient with our family. We did not feel pressured in any way for decisions or purchases and they even accommodated a last-minute request. Having the live-stream was such a blessing for our overseas family members as well, and they played the slideshow of pictures we created with no error. We truly appreciate the staff for their hard work in making my father-in-law’s wishes come true and for their care with our family. If I could give more than 5 stars, I really would.

Recently, my family and I had to say goodbye to my beloved grandmother, and we chose Ajax Crematorium & Visitation Centre to conduct her final rites. From start to finish, the experience exceeded our expectations during what was a very difficult time.nnFrom the moment I first called Justine Carmichael to engage their services, his compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail stood out. He guided us seamlessly through every step of the process and continued to support us even after the cremation was complete, helping to tie up loose ends with care and understanding.nnThe staff as a whole were exceptional—well-trained, compassionate, and attentive in ways we didn’t even know we needed. A few moments, in particular, left a lasting impression on me:nnWhen I mentioned that the paper towel dispenser was jammed, a staff member immediately brought a roll to place on the counter and assured me they would have it fixed.nnAt the end of the service, we were preparing to pack up our food, only to find that the staff had already done it for us, carefully packaging everything so we could take it home—an unexpected and thoughtful gesture.nnThe audio technician accommodated a last-minute change to our program without hesitation, and even when we ran late wrapping up, we were never rushed or made to feel unwelcome.nnThese small but meaningful actions made a tremendous difference to us. The team worked seamlessly together, showing respect, empathy, and flexibility at every turn.nnI am deeply grateful to Justine and the entire staff for helping our family lay my grandmother to rest with dignity and peace. Their professionalism and kindness will not be forgotten.
I have nothing but great things to say about the service provided. Justin was kind and patient during the initial visit. He also was very accommodating in what we needed for the service. The communication via email/text/phone was always quick, which is something that definitely helped with the process. On the day of, everything went very smoothly and the staff were so friendly and there for us whenever needed. Truly grateful for how easy they made this difficult time. 5 stars!
