Stopped here for a late lunch. The service was lovely, friendly and fast...the atmosphere is super cute, very clean and quaint and the food was awesome! I had the "sampler" platter which is a perfect amount of each of the fried pickles, mushrooms, poppers and chicken fingers. My friend had the pickerel burger and was also impressed. We noted that every nook and cranny of this spot is clean, well kept and maintained. The owners' pride in the place shows and was not unnoticed. This is an underrated gem in Beausejour, MB that you simply must try!!
Wow! Just came back from the Airliner Drive In, had an amazing experience! Service was prompt and super friendly, food was absolutely fabulous, and the overall feel of the diner was warm and cozy with an 80s vibe! Loved it! Edit: forgot to mention it's cash only.
We flew in and what a neat experience. From the tiki bar to the awesome burgers and curly fries. I will definitely be back to try more on their menu. Had the stealth burger and it was awesome!
Being a local to beausejour this is our go to spot! Ive never been disappointed eating here. The Cessna and 1/2 poutine order go hand in hand. I also recommend the frickles and the shrooms. Restaurant is always clean and lots of outdoor/indoor seating. You might even see a plane or two.
Best onion rings we’ve come across in years. Service was a little off, maybe weekend staff a bit out of rhythm. Could not believe in these times a business is cash only, but this one is! Dinged an extra $2.50 for the captive ATM. I’d read the patty size was a little small for the bun, so I ordered a double. Bad move. You get a lot of meat, and I don’t have any compliments for that meat. Weird texture, no beefiness to it, no thanks. Fries looked great, like they do on the site’s pages, but they are just overcooked. We saw a lot of people eating wraps, which looked generous in size. If we go back, maybe we’ll try that.
We just had dinner there. It was so good!!!! I had a great burger, actually 2 Lol!! No bun. Cheese, bacon, pickles, and lettuce. They said they had no keto options. So they figured one out. So impressed!!! We will definitely be back.
Excellent home made food. Large portions. Very nice ppl work here. Huge parking lot. Huge patio. Great views of small planes landing. Cash only but ATM on site.
Absolutely adorable place! The service, atmosphere, and food were just incredible! Accidentally ordered the largest burger on the menu 747 burger. Should have realized by the description! lol and it was a bit big for me, but holy cow was it delicious! My husband had the same and absolutely loved it. He’s a big eater and it was perfect for him. Patty, bacon cheese, buns, pickles, all perfect! We ordered onion rings on the side and had to take them home. If we lived around here we are positive we would be frequent regulars. If it’s on your way, you should check it out! If it’s a bit out of the way, make the trip! I’d say it’s worth it.
Really nice spot, and a decently diverse menu. Was really disappointed that they were cash only. Planned to have a nice meal while our son was flying, but who carries cash anymore!? All seven of us left hungry.
The french buns are way too doughy/chewy for a proper burger, the meat was bland, overall not a good burger, as for the fries, they're cut nice, but whatever oil they fried them in, sure does make them taste quite poor. Ate half the meal, & the rest went in the garbage.
