Spicy Salmon Roll $7.50: 7 / 10 Spicy Tuna Roll $8.50: 7 / 10 Both rolls were tasty and large! There was lots of fresh fish on top as well as inside the roll, which really fills you up nicely. I really enjoyed the fact that it was actually hot spicy. I would definitely be back to try more of the menu. Everything was fresh and the prices are very fair for the food quality and quantity. I'm sure the special rolls are excellent and will be trying some next time to update this review!

Very simple and cute restaurant. The woman that helped us was very polite. The food came out HOT very fresh and great tasting food. Very much enjoyed our time here. Cards accepted and cash accepted with a 5% discount!Food: 5/5

Went here with my best friend on a weekday lunch and we got their Aijo special which came with many sides, appetizer and rolls they have a great selection. Very filling and very tasty! We left so satisfied! Definitely will be back!

We went there at a cold noon, and the store is small, warm and cozy. The price is very good and the food was fresh and delicious and generous. Definitely recommend to everyone that want to try out Korean and Sushi food!

Excellent cuisine! Photos do not do it justice but if they can tell you one thing, their was NO hesitation in digging in while everything was piping hot. The quality of fish was fresh, sushi rice cooked perfectly and the bowl of teppoki was like a BIG bowl of comfort. Thank you Aijo team for the food and wonderful service. We will be back

I love going there so much reasons because it’s hard and rare to fin bento place freshly made and there food quality is delicious! I always love going there by my self if with friends or with my other half! Great work Ajio Sushi! Super duper delightful

Ajio Sushi Wow! How did I miss this gem??? So my cousin Susan Bullock said we had to go to her favorite Japanese restaurant tonight. And you know me....What, you want me to go with you to one of your favorite spots to eat in Hamilton....Nah I'll pass.....bahahaha, we were there in like 10 minutes.....Would have been quicker....but you know parking and all... So it's this little place west of Mary St on King St. Been there for years. And I haven't been there once. Let me tell you that's going to change. Susan had one of there many different bento boxes. The choices are almost endless. I had a specialty spicy chicken bowl with cheese. We both shared an appetizer. Susan's bento box was loaded with salmon. The picture doesn't do it justice. She took half of the bento box home. My spicy chicken bowl was deep and loaded. For me, not overly hot to begin with but the spicy did grow on me and I loved it!!!! Both came with rice pudding and salad. There was also miso soup, kimchi, some kind of fish salad plus our drinks. The total price was 56 bucks! That's insanity! I took half my meal home and it made a complete dinner for someone at home. That was beyond reasonable for the over the top quality of the food and amount. Then there was the service. Wonderful service, wonderful people. Place was jammed at 5pm on a Saturday. We got the last booth. Take out was going crazy too. The server must have came to our table no less than 7 times to see how things were going. This place is the bomb! Really knocked it out of the park. What an absolutely fantastic overall experience. While I have a lot of favorite spots in Hamilton. Truly this one is now up there with some of the greats! You folks know who you are wink, wink! How fortunate are we to have this many fantastic eating places in Hamilton. On my list, I just added one more. If you like traditional Korean /Japanese food, Sushi or just tasty food in general. This spot is a must try in my opinion. Don't wait! Go now! Or maybe tomorrow....but go! Way to go, Ajio Sushi Korean & Japanese Restaurant. We will be back! I'm bringing more family next time! Going to need a bigger booth! Wow!

Never been to the city before and had lunch here. The staff were very polite and greater is when i got there. The menu had a lot of options, and i were a bit overwhelmed, but I decided to get the spicy fried pork. My first bite made my guy turn, but I suspect that was because it's been a while since I've had food this good. It was well cooked and presented. I will be going here next time I'm in town.

Been going to Ajio for years now. Everything from the side dishes to the main course is amazing. My all-time favourite is Kimchi Bulgogi. Also recommend their Spicy Chicken with cheese. If you’re looking for a Korean soup, their Gamjatang is top notch. Every time I’m in Hamilton, I go here or order from here.
