Great place to spend time with kids on a weekend. They are open for leisurely family swim and that too for free at the moment.
Staff is so RUDE all the time, not professional, unknowledgable and poorly trained! Also when you are entitled to a refund they will tell you its been processed but then a month will go by and still no refund. The staff refuse to give any helpful contact numbers to prevent you from talking to higher ups. Horrible service and would NOT recommend coming here.
This recreation centre is great!! It has a cheery, welcoming atmosphere. It's all about courteous employees, cleanliness, great quality ice in the arena and a sunny-feeling pool, even when it's cold and dreary outside. If they had more leisure, drop-in activities, I'd never leave.
It's beautiful and big. The pool looks amazing! They have lots of programs. It's very accessible with elevators and ramps and door buttons. Staff are friendly and personable. 10/10
I have been going here since I was a child. There is lots of parking. The washrooms are clean, and so is the facility. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a swimming pool. A sauna, a hot tub, and a skating rink. There are times that the pool is just for adults. So if you want to do anything, always check the schedual first. There is an outside playground and splash pad as well.
Do NOT leave any valuables in the locker at all even if it has lock. Today we had 3 lockers plus mine broken into and stole all valuables; cash, wallet, phone, keys, etc. came out from swimming and found my lock missing from the locker. Looked inside and found all my clothes which was on the upper shelf is on the bottom. Further investigation found my pant missing with my valuables wallet, key, phone, etc. in my pant’s pocket. Found out from other family that 2 lockers was from ladies’ change room, one at pool area, and mine at family’’a change room. Contacted pool office, corporate security, and police non-emergency contact. They could care less and just took down report. The pool office took down my report and so is the police’s line. Police is a no show. Corporate security came and cared less saying he can’t access cameras or do anything and will have to be the police requesting to see cameras. So, please do not leave valuables in the locker even if it has lock. I was told by pool office staff that it did happened often maybe one locker a week, weeks or month, but never 4 in a day.
This place deserves a 0 Staff is very rude. One of the life guards yelled directly at my 3y/o and she got scared. Her dad was just passing her to me because she wanted to get out of the pool. He also had my son with him and I cant go in to get my daughter. I get that they want everyone to be safe but If he had something to say he should have said something to my husband or myself, instead of leaning over to yell at a 3y/o.
Showers are very cold. Pool water should be warmer for kids taking swim lessons. Beach chairs are kept at a distance from pool for parents- which are very few in number. Some teachers just train kids for 15 minutes and the other half is left for kids to do water play; while they charge money for full 30 minutes for lessons.
Very small deep end, very swallow aswell. But they do have a good sauna, hottub, and a water slide. Would recommend for kids.
