This is a remarkable Japanese-style bar. It's exceptional to across the entrance which is a machine. Moreover, the atmosphere is perfect and a singer performs famous music. The most surprising point is the whisky set which is special with 3 different degrees. Also, the staff provide a lot of approaches to drink. 1. you can just only drink it. 2. after you drink it, you can eat the chocolate. 3. you can add 5 drops of water to improve the flavour.
Good ambience. Love the hidden aspect. Cocktails on the slightly pricier end but they were tasty. It’s a perfect spot if you want to get a drink after work or before dinner which I feel like is what this space was designed for. They serve bottomless mixed candied nuts with the drinks. I understand the sentiment that restaurants don’t want guests to get full on snacks but have always thought bottomless snacks is essential to drink hangouts. Would definitely come back :
Absolutely unbelievable cocktails. By far the very best in Toronto. The entire concept etc is very cool as well and it’s a very well done speakeasy. Big fan of the service as well, very good and knowledgable staff whom were incredibly pleasant throughout the experience. Would definitely return and will tell everyone about it. Only let down is when making a reservation you must put in credit card details, which is always a turn off for me, especially since I wanted to make a reservation for a day of booking, but their cancellation fee would be activated upon less than 24h notice, which would be impossible to cancel a day of reservation. Ended up not making one and was able to walk in at 5:30pm. It does get very crowded very quickly though.
Amazing hidden bar with tasty cocktails and a great atmosphere. I tried 3 of their home recipe cocktails and all were amazing treats that were quite strong but hid it well. One thing that stood out to me was how training was done. At my limited time at the bar if they did something wrong they just made a new drink to ensure it was done right. The Flamango was my go to, they torch the drink to create almost a creme brulee. Highly recommend!
While I'm still against the idea of a speakeasy requiring reservations, After seven made a good case for serving just a handful of tables. The soft tunes and low hum of conversation made the perfect backdrop for enjoying truly unique cocktails and an impressive whiskey collection. To top it all off, the service went above and beyond to make the experience great.
My favourite bar in Downtown Toronto! I was so surprised when I found out that this bar is hidden behind a bubble tea shop! The drinks were amazing and they are so unique!! I got Flamingo which is a mango alcoholic drink with a burnt foam ? on top, it is not that strong in terms of alcohol and it goes down very easily! Other drinks are so good as well, they are all worth a try! I love the environment so much! It’s so comfortable and it’s so clean! I love the staff they are so nice and responsive!!
Cute Japanese cocktail bar - loved the fun entrance! Had the Pandan Panda cocktail and it was delicious. Would definitely recommend reservations or going on a slower night, as there is not much seating inside went on a Sunday and we lucked out getting bar seats for 4 people. They have a coat rack at the entrance, so it's great so you don't have your heavy winter coat taking up space.
Very cool spot just by Grange Park. We tried the Japanese Whiskey set and really enjoyed that. The other drinks are pretty solid too. A good place for small groups or 1-on-1s.
I really wanted to try this bar because I saw some posts of it and was immediately attracted to the ambiance and the idea of a "secret" bar that is only accessible if you say the secret code. I think the entire idea of that is pretty nifty, however, it didn't live up to my expectations. I wasn't blown away by the drinks or the service, it was just average. This place is pretty small in size, so tables and bar seats are taken quickly. If you're thinking about coming here, especially with a larger group, I would recommend that you make a reservation first. Overall, I would come back again but just as a once-in-a-while treat for myself or my friends. Drinks: 7 out of 10 Staff: 7 out of 10 Décor/Atmosphere: 8 out of 10
Drinks were only okay. Service was poor in that they weren't very attentive given how little people were there. It's pretty cramped and gimmicky and they only let us stay for 45 minutes. Might be a cute spot more for an intimate date versus a fun girls night but note that the tables are seated VERY close together.
