Its just so great! It feels home cooked, the owners are the sweetest people! The spices are great!! I love it! I am vegetarian but look at that fish! Vegetarian options: Rasta Pasta no chicken!
I ordered pepper soup yesterday from skip and couldn’t add plantains I called in and they were so Polite and added it without any cost. The soup was very delicious, one of the best I have tried. Thank you for excellent service and wonderful meal.
Not the busiest place; at least on a hot Thursday in mid afternoon. Interesting selection. Trying something new for us. Will report back in a few. Looks promising!
Beautiful place. Celebrated my birthday there and I must sat it was beyond fun. They have a snooker board additional activity with no extra cost. Nigerian food at her finest. Feeling nostalgic. The food portion was excellent, I couldn't finish my food and took the left over home of course that's the culture. A must- visit for anyone in Kamloops.
Food was great but the dining experience was not so much. It took them 40 minutes to serve my order and the restaurant wasn't busy at all only two tables out of 10 or so were occupied. It felt like a fast food restaurant as opposed to a normal restaurant. At one time a guy was playing something that was loud enough to disturb others. And a bit later, another guy was having a loud phone conversation. The vibe of the restaurant didn't feel right to me.
Had been meaning to go since they opened in the food court and just went to their new location where Passek's used to be on Victoria, and I have to admit I wasn't impressed. Service was lacking: our server never offered water even though we were dining inside. But my biggest pet peeve was that everything comes in plastic forks, plates even the sauces I think this makes sense for their previous food court location but not for a stand-alone restaurant, definitely wasn't pleased about how much waste my single meal came packaged with. A resturant that size should definitely have a working dishwasher. Food was decent but definitely not a dine in experience I'd try again soon, might have to be take-out only for me.
Used to be very good. Not the same after they moved, ordered take out and it’s only half of the old portion, $20 for a bowl of rice 4 pieces of meat stew and an egg. Not going again.
This place makes the most delicious food. Ive never been to their actual location but ordered on meal delivery app twice. Have had the stewed goat, jollof rice, chicken and a dessert. 10/10. Love the flavors and the spice. Such a hearty meal and you get a large portion. Food is always hot. Plenty of goat meat and the meaty part, not all bony which is nice. Would deffinitley reccomend trying if you havent had african food before. Looking forward to trying their soups, fish and shwarma next.
First time in, warm greeting. We had a chicken shawarma, suya coated chicken wings, jollof rice. Just wow on the flavours and the food came out piping hot. We will both order from and come here again to rry more menu items
Food took a while but still great service, great vibes, very clean, and friendly staff! Wasn’t overly impressed with my chicken shawarma but looking at the reviews maybe next time I go I’ll try the rice special instead!
