This place is in my and my wife's top 2 places for Middle Eastern food, food is always fresh tasting and well seasoned and Def reasonably priced. I'm trying to eat healthier but sometimes I'm to busy to cook so at least here I can count on getting some vegetables in because I mix the salad with the rice. Anyways check it out if you can !
First time trying Afghan food. So much to choose from so it was a bit of a guess. Had Min Seekh, chicken and bee kebobs. $12 for a full meal with salad and bread. It was delicious. Great flavours. Helpful staff. My friend who was nervous about new food raved about his Tandoori chicken.
Being Fathers day we ordered through Uber Eats. The food was ever so delicious. We ordered 2 Bolanis, Potatoes & Leaks 2 Chicken Qorma that came with Naan & Rice & salad 2 Chicken & Beef Seekhs with salads Will definitely buy again. Thank you, Afghan Cuisine really appreciate it and all the food was packed very well as well.
The food is delicious, my wife and I order the half Tandoori Chicken with jasmine rice, naan, and a salad. The chicken is always good and the naan is always fresh but the salad is a hit or a miss depending when you go. The best and most consistently excellent food they serve is actually not the meat but the jasmine rice. By far their rice is always spot on. The service is good with friendly people, overall is a definite most try.
Wow!!! What a food. Hats off to the best location of Afghan cuisine. Lamb Shank is unbelievable. Food is always fresh and tasty. 101% recommended.
This place was very good. Clean eating and not too greasy. You know the food was cooked to order as it took about 15 mins to be prepared. Would for sure come back.
Unfortunately this is the lowest rating I've given a restaurant to date . I placed an order for a meal over the phone and when I got there the staff were overwhelmed although there weren't that many customers. Before leaving, the cashier asked me if I had paid for a soft drink can in my hand despite him being the one to ring me up. After being accused of stealing a drink in front of everyone, I went home to find burnt food! I paid $30 for a meal and 2 drinks for half of my meat pieces to be burnt. Thanks but no thanks
I originally used to go to the Overlea location and was surprised when the opened one in Ajax a few years ago. Today I order my usual chicken seekh kabab wrap and for the first time was recommended to try the combo with fries. I’m glad I did the fries are seasoned and crisp to perfection. Thanks Hassan!!!
I ate their special tandoori chicken over rice. First time in my life I couldn't finish the food I paid for. One of the worst tasting places to eat. Maybe their other items are better but special chicken over rice should be removed from their menu
This was my first time eating here and I had a wonderful experience here with my brother. We were greeted with a warm welcome from the staff, all of whom were very friendly and helpful when choosing our orders. I had combo 3 and my brother had a salad with chicken. The portion sizes are large and the chef cooked our meals to perfection. I would highly recommend trying it out. I will 100% be coming back again.
