The food was delicious the selection on the menu was great and the prices were equally great especially for the level of food one receives. The only comment I would make is the waitress could have came back to our table to take the our finished dishes away after it finished eating. Nothing more unpleasant than sitting enjoying the taste of the food we just finished eating looking at dirty plates. But this restaurant is definitely worthwhile checking out if you really enjoy Afghani food
Food was great. We ordered the couples dish/entree and it was more than enough food for 2 people. Food all tasted great and the service was great too. We did go when it wasn’t too busy. Only thing I would say about the food is the naan wasn’t fresh. Everything else was great. Seating and ambiance were great too.
I have been looking forward to try this place as there are mixed reviews on Afghan Chopan. Ordered Couple combo, Bolani, Mantu and Ashak. All the items were tasty andade fresh. Loved the Mantu and Ashak more. Bolani- was ok, I had better Bolani in other Afghan places. For the Couples Combo , bread was hard and stale. They didn't provide the vegetables side dish with the combo, instead added Chola!! Without asking us- didn't like this at all.
The food was so good. We ordered all of their appetizers and as the main dish we had 3 different things and I liked QABOLI RICE WITH BEEF . The vibe was so good and cozy .Food: 5/5
Ordered a couple combo and food was amazing. They were definitely small portions but perfect for us. The spices were very well balanced such that we can enjoy and taste the food. The meat was tasteful and delicious. Also we really enjoyed the milk tea. Will visit again.
This is my first time having dinner there. I had the vegetarian combo and it was really good. My friend had Bolani, Tekka Combo, Fereney and she loved all. The Chai Sabz and Sheer Chai were really good.
Food was fantastic!! First time trying it and will be returning for sure!! Only thing is that I wish that the service was better It took us 10mins to get our waitress to help us!! That is not acceptable
We tried the big platter combo, chicken nuggets they should change this name, sounds like McDonald's and doesn't do justice to this juicy, crispy and light chicken fritters, pakoras just average too heavy and filling and sweet corn soup. The platter was more than sufficient for 4 adults. The lamb and beef kebabs were great. Chicken kebab was a bit on the dry side. Sweet corn soup was a disappointment. Dessert a variation of tres leches cake was fabulous. They literally served us a mound of rice. All the drinks we tired were good. Service was slow. The restaurant at that time was very busy with both dine in and take out. We ate at the patio which was set up in the parking lot Covid make-shift so it was just okay. Will definitely go back for their kebabs.
My favourite Afghani Restaurant so far I liked everything the food the environment but I think they need more staff.Recommended dishesKabuli Pulao Rice, Meat Platter with Kabuli Pulao, Bolani, Kebab Platter, Fereney, Afghani Naan, Chopan Kebab, Family Combo
Quality of food has been always the same for past years. The taste is maybe not 100% authentic to the Afghan food but it sure has its quality. Unfortunately in the past years the service has never improved. You just go there to eat and leave. They also have a small hall in the back that could be rented out. Anytime you have a party at the hall you will only get 2 waitresses no matter if you have 30 people or you have a big party up to 100 guests. It’s family managed and hopefully they will work on all the points above!
