John is an amazing man. Very professional, kind and super helpful. We recently lost my dad unexpectedly we were given John’s contact information. From day one he was helpful, quick at responding and very understanding. My dads viewing was beautiful and cremation service was no stress. The price we were given was the final price no hidden fees, no extras and very reasonable. I would recommend Affordable Funeral Services 100% without a doubt.
Excellent service offered by John. Everything was set up so beautiful for my parent's funeral and all went very smoothly. John has a wonderful charisma and understanding towards us the clients. His services are highly recommended.
John and his wife are amazing people. They listened to and addressed all our family's questions. They were kind and respectful of our beliefs and supported us through this difficult process. They are understanding and made the best arrangements according to our specific needs. Heather and Shivani was so supportive and warm hearted person, they organized and did an amazing job for my mom's funeral. The price is also very competitive compare to other funeral homes, I have checked and called a lot before I came to Affordable Funeral Service so I know they do have a good price. Don't want anyone to go though this sad moment in life like me, but if you need, Affordable Funeral Services is a good choice.
I can't express in enough words how amazing and supportive everyone was. I dealt directly with John and Rachel. After being blindsided by Ripley's Funeral home on lakeshore etobicoke disguised as basic funerals where I was quoted one price and then when the time came they tried to slap me with a contract of 5 times what I was quoted. Upset and frantic I googled and contacted Affordable Funeral Services and spoke directly to John and 3 minutes in I knew I had found the one. Amazing, attentive, dedicated Rachel and John always took my calls and texts, were on top of everything and were able to pull everything together within 2 days. I can't express how grateful I am and how amazing Affordable Funeral Services were.
Dealing with the loss of a loved one is challenging to say the least. I live in BC and on very short notice needed to make arrangements for my mom. The seniors home she was living in has a line up of people needing beds and quick timelines. In all the stress and grieving, John's approach was calm and professional. It is the skill set of a good Funeral provider to do this however John's approach and follow through was a gift to me and my family at a very difficult time. He acts with integrity and has a down to earth approach which is exceptional. I am truly thankful I connected with John, for my benefit and knowing my mother was well cared for. Thanks John!

When my family was unfortunate enough to have to use Johns services, he returned my call promptly and was very helpful in answering my questions. He advised me to sign up on his website and when a death occurred I could just call the number provided and complete the arrangement process with him. He was always available via phone calls or emails. The service for my mother was well planned and executed flawlessly. The clergy member was personable and added great character to the funeral service. He understood that we weren't overly religious and took that into consideration when leading the service. What a welcome service this is. These days, funerals have become so impersonal and 'business-like' that bringing them back into the Church, where we bade our loved ones 'farewell' as they embark on their final journey, is very comforting.. The cost of funerals are so horrendous, it's almost cruel but, thank God, Affordable Funeral Services Inc. seems to have some compassion for those left behind to bear this expense.
