Love my latest hairdo by Jasmine. This Was my first time at aevi salon and really an amazing experience I had. I never even realized that 40 minutes she took. Overall I enjoyed her service.
I have been coming to this salon for years and always come to see John because he is incredible with anything you need or want done to your hair. I live in a different province and coming into town can sometimes be unpredictable in terms of planning the dates so I went to a different salon in a pinch. Mistakes happen and I did not get what I wanted at the other salon and needed a serious colour correction ASAP so I called Aevi to see what my options were. Although I was unable to see John last minute because he was fully booked, he graciously recommended the wonderful Darci so sorry if I spelled your name wrong! who happened to have an opening in the afternoon; as he could tell from my voice when I called the salon that I was panicked and needed it fixed before leaving the city. Not only did Darci do an incredible job to correct my hair, she also took her time and made me feel comfortable as I can be quite picky about my hair. It turned out to be exactly the colour John has been able to create for my hair over the years. Kudos to John and Darci who both made sure I was happy and had exactly what I wanted before I left. I haven’t lived in Winnipeg for years but will always still fly in just to come to this salon because of the amazing care. I cannot thank you enough. Best blonding/highlight service out there!!
Came in for a lash lift & tint service with Lori, she was amazing. She’s very meticulous, and pays close attention to detail, and made great conversation! I love my lashes and will be coming back!
FOR A VERY UPSET FRIEND I attended AVEI hair salon to get a root touch up. I was quoted $60.00. When I got in the chair I was asked “are we doing a style in your hair today?” to which I answered yes as I thought it was included in the price I was quoted. When the stylist was done with my hair and I attended the cashier to pay, I was charged $84.00, when I asked them to explain the price, the very rude cashier stated “the $20.00 was for the style. The $60.00 was for the color.” I scheduled another appointment with AVEI, this time I refused the style option and stated I wanted the root touch up only. I explained to the stylist that I am often surprised by the cost when I get to the register. I explained to the stylist I am often charged well over the quoted price. The stylist was looking through my hair as I was explaining to her how I was miss quoted last time. The stylist empathized with me and then proceeded to color my roots. After the color was applied to the roots, and I was waiting for the color to set, the stylist approached me to advise that the service will cost me $80.00 as my roots were “too long.” This was not communicated to me before the color was applied. Rather it was explained to me shortly before the colour was to be washed out of my hair. I had no choice at this time as I couldn’t leave the salon with color in my hair. The stylist stated “we are actually supposed to charge more” This was not communicated to me when the color was being applied. When I got to the till I was charged $84.00. I called to inform my mother of this event as she had an appointment with AVEI. At this time my mother informed me that she to was swindled by the hair salon. A retired senior who does not have a lot of cash was charged $120 dollars for a root touch up. She found out the price of her root touch up when they attended the cash register to pay for her service. SCHISTERS.
Recently went to Aevi for the first time to get full set of hilights with Anatastia. Anatasia was meticulous with her work and my hair turned out incredible/ the best I've ever seen it. I would absolutely recommend Anatasia - Thank you!
I’ve been seeing Ashley as my hairdresser for over a year now and is always on time for our appointment. Also, she records the colour tones she uses on my hair so she is ready to work. I have naturally curly hair and I would label her as a curly hair specialist. The Boutique is always stocked with new and trendy items.
I get my hair done by the wonderful Darcie, and decided to try the spa side by getting a pedicure with my bride to be sister in law who also received a brow wax and tint. Well what can I say... I am so happy I did! Navi and Lisa did wonderful jobs, great experience all around, and so clean!! Will definitely be my new go to place for nails and brows.
john was super professional and gave me the best haircut of my life, and camryn at the front desk was super helpful! will definitely be coming back again.
