Thank you Tiffany for always taking care of me! as well as the extremely curteous and kind receptionist. There's a handful of people that I trust with my hair and I'm glad I was able to add to that list.
BEWARE prices on their website are much lower than what they charge now in Feb 2022. Don't make my mistake and assume they are correct. It's true that I should have asked first, but that's why I decided to pay. I was charged 264$ for half head highlights and a haircut and blow-dry. The highlights were really well done! The haircut was nothing like I asked even though I showed pictures of my previous style. The highlights are listed "starting at 65$" and haircut and blow dry "40-50$". The full head highlights were listed as "starting at 95$". So roughly shouldn't have been more than 150$. I was never explained how they got to this amount of 264$. When I asked the cashier, she told me that the prices on the website "are very old" and "nobody does a a haircut and blow dry for 40$ anymore". BTW that is absolutely incorrect. I've had the same hairstylist for 10 years and this is what he used to charge in the past year. Unfortunately I had to move from that area, so I had to find another salon. After this experience, I prefer to drive 30 min to my old salon. Furthermore, I was called the following day from the salon and was told that I forgot my water bottle there which is much appreciated. During that call the cashier maybe owner...not sure she said "by the way, on our website it says starting at 65$". Which made it even worse, first she said the prices are not up to date, than she is justifying it this way. If it's starting at 65$ doesn't mean that you can charge 150$ for highlights only. Doesn't make any sense! I want to thank Nathalie for the great highlights and apologize that I had to leave without giving any tip, but given the situation the owner should tip her. I noticed one of the replies for these reviews start with "shame on you". For me it's really telling to the way this business conducts itself. I like to get a weekly blowout and i was looking for a new salon as i just moved to the neighborhood. I have short hair and Im usually charged 30$ at my old salon for a blowout. I was surprised to see adva salon charges 47$. The hairstylis was in a rush running all over the place i had to ask her to put heat protector because she was in such a rush to get it done that she didnt even prepare my hair. I also had to ask her to use the flat iron because i have curly hair so my hair was left frizzy after using just the blowdryer and brush. I was expecting a better service for the price. Will not return
This was my first time to Adva Hair Salon & Beauty Spa, and it won't be my last. From the get go, Adva makes you feel comfortable and at home, and confident in her skills. She really knows her way around the chair, and I felt so relaxed and cared for. She works quick, but that's not to say that she doesn't put her heart and soul into her work. She is a true artist, with so much knowledge and experience under her belt that shines through every step of the way. Thank you so much for the beautiful balayage, cut and blow dry! My hair has never felt and looked so good! X
Horrendous hair cut.. did not wet hair to cut, he was too busy taking calls. Advance asked at the end how it went I put my baseball cap back on and when I said it was horrible, she went back to what she was doing .. just blew me off . I. It was my first time at Adva Salon. I had an appointment on July 16@ 16:30 and they were on time. Selena was fantastic and very helpful with different ideas for my hair and she did an excellent job at cutting and styling my hair. The salon was very clean and the décor was classy. Thank you Selena!
First thing I noticed is that this place is very clean. Adva did an amazing job on my hair: I love it. When I walked in they immediately got me into the chair to wash, there was barely any waiting. She's accurate & definitely knows what she's doing. I would recommend this place to anyone.
