Established in 2000 by two NSCAD graduates, Andrew Danylewich and Julie (Babin) Danylewich, ADJA calls a small coastal town in Nova Scotia home. The ocean’s influence is apparent in many pieces through colour, theme, form, or function
Andrew produces one of a kind and small production run jewellery on site in a variety of materials from silver, copper, found objects to gold and gemstone pieces. Gold mokume gane wedding band sets are made to order.
His work can be found in private collections across North America , Europe and as far away as New Zealand, including the private collection of former Governor General of Canada Adrienne Clarkson. Andrew has just had a piece included in the Lark Books puplication 500 Necklace and has been recognized by the Nova Scotia Government for his contribution to art and craft in the province (April 3rd 2013 resolution #108)
ADJA also carries the work of other local artists and artisans including painting, ceramics, wood work, photography and fiber arts.
