First time trying Ethiopian food. We were immediately welcomed and directed towards a great sharing option. The meal, as well as the service was wonderful throughout. Can't wait to return here with more friends!
Located at the heart of commercial drive, this is family restaurant. The owners are from Ethiopia, really nice and accommodates all your food preferences, combo plate is only $15 per person.. which is really cheap for a full dinner. They also provided us unlimited injera. Food tastes like comfort home-made and delicious.
Love this place! The food was amazing, fresh injera and tons of flavour in the veggies combo. The cafe is decorated with Ethiopian and pictures, thanks for bringing your culture to Vancouver. We will be back!
We usually go to Harambe but have found that since the reopening the already long wait was even longer, so we decided to give Addis Cafe a try and we were so glad we did. The food is just as good and cheaper and the best part... Practically no wait.
This is a little Gem to discover! Underneath the humble look of the place, their food is so delicious and their service always full of smiles. Highly recommended to try the Meat and Veggie combo, that is what we get each time and we love it.

The owners are so friendly and their food tastes like home cooking. Their injera is the best I've had in Vancouver! Their combo plates are very filling, healthy and taste incredible! I definitely would recommend this little nook in commercial!
