My son needed a medication after an urgent care appointment, our usual pharmacy had no stock. I called Acton pharmacy and they told me they had stock and filled it the same day after we had our pharmacy transfer it over. This is a great pharmacy with patient, helpful staff.
I have a medically complex child and we've moved all of his prescriptions over to Acton Pharmacy after multiple TERRIBLE experiences with a national chain with only three letters in its name.nnActon Pharmacy has been nothing but WONDERFUL for everything, from compounded meds to regular prescription meds. The app is so easy to use, we get an actual competent LIVE HUMAN BEING when we call with a question vs. having our question about our medically complex child dumped into a voice mail system and never responded to, and when someone at Acton Pharmacy doesn't know the answer to one of our questions, they use critical thinking and problem solving skills to actually HELP us. Imagine that! A business filled with licensed professionals who actually HELP you in exchange for being paid. This shouldn't be extra special, but it is nowadays!nnGreat. Now I sound like a grumpy old lady shaking my fist at the sky. I'm too young to be a grumpy old lady!nnIt shouldn't be unusual, or even comment-worthy to talk about this, and yet in our increasingly hyper-corporatized world where medically complex children like mine are treated like a number and dollar signs by certain systems, having pharmacy systems that work efficiently, a personal touch, genuine interest, and basic empathy goes a long way, all for the same amount of money we spent at CVS yes, those 3 letters.nnTed, in particular, has been a whiz at helping us with insurance coverage for compounding medications. Every person we've interacted with at the store has been pleasant, knowledgable, and efficient.nnAnd Acton Pharmacy's app is so easy and convenient! There's a chat feature where someone actually gets back to you within a short time if you have a question. Refilling prescriptions on the app is clear and easy.nnNo, I'm not a paid spokesperson for this place. They're just SO MUCH BETTER than CVS!nnTHANK YOU, Acton Pharmacy! I'm sending all my friends and family to you. We live 25 minutes away and it's worth the extra 10 minutes compared to our old pharmacy!
Just last night I purchased Baby Ease diaper rash ointment for my newborn foster baby. I have been trying for days to clear up a bad diaper rash, using 3 different over the counter ointments and 1 prescription Nystatin, with no real visible change. After 1 application of Baby Ease, the redness was greatly reduced, and I continued using it at each diaper change through the night. This morning the rash is almost completely healed! I am headed back to Acton Pharmacy today to buy 2 more tubs of Baby Ease so I can keep 1 in the diaper bag, and have a spare when I run out. Amazing product! Thank you!
Everyone at this pharmacy is very helpful and kind and actually answer the phone when you call, which is a big deal if you’ve used a CVS pharmacy in the past few years. We’ve transferred all of the family’s prescriptions here and it’s made our life so much easier!
I've been using Acton pharmacy pharmacy for at least 7 years they have the best staff . They have gone out of their way several times to make sure I get what I need. Love them all if you live nearby, younshould use them
