Activate is honestly so much fun. It’s basically like being inside a real-life arcade game, and it turned out to be way more of a workout than I expected. We left pretty tired but had a blast trying to beat the different levels. The technology works really well, and the whole place is well-managed. Great casual spot in Toronto to visit with a group. Highly recommend checking it out.
It was definitely an adrenaline-filled adventure in real time! The interactive gaming in real time does make you feel like you're main character in the life sized game rooms! We had so much fun to move between challenges and work as a team! It's worth your time to visit with friends and family! Let the games begin at Activate Toronto!
Activate is an absolute blast! The games are fast-paced, interactive, and perfect for all ages and fitness levels. It’s such a fun way to get moving without even realizing you’re working out. The staff were friendly, helpful, and explained everything clearly, making the experience smooth from start to finish. The facility was clean, well-organized, and high-energy. Whether you’re going with friends, family, or coworkers, Activate is a unique and exciting experience that keeps you laughing, competing, and wanting to come back for more.
This is an indoor activity facility where you can play for 75 minutes for $30 per person plus tax.nnThe process is simple: you check in, pay, receive a wristband, get changed, and register it at a kiosk. Then you have 75 minutes of unlimited access to the activities before returning the wristband at the end.nnWhat I liked:n• Great value at $30, and you can stay active regardless of weathern• Large lockers are provided for each group free of chargen• Each playroom offers multiple game modes, so you can enjoy a much wider variety of experiences than it might initially seemn• It was quite busy at first, but it became less crowded over time, making it easier to enjoy the activitiesn• Even when busy, short game times mean quick turnover and minimal waitingn• The flooring is cushioned and comfortable to walk onn• Free photo booths with instant delivery to your phonen• A fun point system where you can redeem prizesn• Vending machines are available a bit pricey but convenientnnWhat could be improved:n• There was little to no explanation from staff on how to use the facility, and we were directed straight into the play area, which felt a bit confusing at firstn• Some games were too easy, while others were difficult to understand and ended before we fully figured them outn• Each game is very short, sometimes surprisingly son• The rooms feel smaller than they appear on social median• Each activity allows up to 5 players, so larger groups can’t always play togethern• Seating is limited to the locker area; benches in activity zones would helpn• There were quite a few young children running around in the hallways or lying on the floor, and since the space is dimly lit, it sometimes felt a bit unsafen• It would feel more comfortable if staff were present in the activity areas to help with questions and improve overall safetynnOverall, despite a few drawbacks, it was a very fun experience.nIn a city like Toronto where there aren’t many interactive activity options, a place like this is definitely appreciated.
OMG, Pooja was an absolutely incredible host! This was our first time visiting the Activate Stockyards location, and she made the entire experience so enjoyable. Pooja patiently walked us through how to navigate the games, carefully explained the instructions, and made sure we understood everything before we started. Because of her kindness and guidance, we had an amazing time. She truly made the experience easy, fun, and memorable. Thank you, Pooja we can’t wait to come back!
