Great experience! Fun to come with friends. Very understanding staff and clear. Only running shoes. Try to reserve if a bigger group.nnIt was our first time and the staff was nice and helpful. There are locked lockers there as well. The games are in rooms that you can choose, there are a variety of games to choose from.nnThe games were so fun. When it gets busy expect waiting to enter room.
I don’t think I have ever had so much fun in a workout, and it really was a workout!nIt was easy to book online, and there is ample parking on site. It does clearly state in your booking to wear running shoes, but make sure you can run and move in your clothes too. Free lockers can hold the jackets or items from pockets that would escape.nOnce inside, staff was super helpful, getting us set up and logged in, showing us the facility, and then they even take you back your first time to show you how to select games and proceed through the rooms.nAfter a while it did get busy, so we found ourselves waiting to enter some rooms, but your game timer only runs when in the rooms, so at least you aren't missing out. With 5 people permitted per room I almost wish my group of 2 had been brave enough to ask to join other groups for some games.nOne thing I wish for is water fountains throughout. No food or drink in rooms covered in electronics makes sense, but a fountain at each end instead of having to go back to the front would be nice.nAt the end we 'won' our keychains, which save your user data and hold promotions and coupons, which is awesome.nOverall, absolute 11/10, we can't wait to come back.nPlease open one in Airdrie!
My son has sensory issues and Jonathan at the front was excellent at making my him feel welcomed and understood. He found us a quiet place and told us there are some Activate stores in Eastern Canada trying low stimulus times. He encouraged us to follow the Facebook page and helped us get set up. He was equally friendly with the other 3 children I brought and even celebrated when my daughter won a water bottle. I came again and needed to change our booking time about 7 times and each time the staff and Jonathan was here again were so friendly and understanding and didn't make me feel bad modifying the reservation I went to the wrong Activate lol. Overall staff are incredibly friendly, prices are reasonable, and the place is a blast with fun interactive games for everyone. I loved that it is high energy active games with a mix of thought provoking challenges. My older kids love it here and it is something we can still do together. I love that the waiting area is quiet and sectioned off too so my son doesn't feel overstimulated.
Where do I even begin? A year ago, I was here to participate in the game, and this year, we had the pleasure of hosting 11 kids and 4 adults for my daughter's 10th birthday. I must admit, there was a moment when I felt completely out of breath—such is the reality of hosting a pre-teen birthday party!nnI want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Anthony for being incredibly helpful in ensuring that both I and the kids were able to get in line smoothly.nnEveryone had an amazing time, and we will most definitely be back!

It’s clear he’s passionate about providing outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.nnAnthony’s attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile truly made my visit memorable. He’s an asset to the team, and I can’t recommend him enough! I’ll definitely be returning to Activate North and hope to see Anthony again.nnI also hope in the future there will be some form of a concession area and potential rental space for events and birthdays.
