One of my favorite frisbee golf courses. Awesome variety. Extremely well kept. Not too many brushy spots that will steal your disc. Highly recommended.
This park has base ball fields, park by with slides and much more to do! The reason why we went to Acorn Park was to play disc golf! There is an amazing disc golf course with 18 holes. Each has it easy and hard way for each hole. Beware of the Gardener snakes are here just so you know. They are in the shrubs.
Good disc golf course. Clear signs at every hole, and arrows to direct you to the next. Most holes have multiple levels of difficulty, like multiple tees or multiple cups.
This is a neat little park whose playground is mainly comprised of lots of challenging climbing equipment. There are a couple of slides but overall, the playground was not enough to keep my toddlers interested for long. I definitely recommend for older elementary-aged children. My 4 year old liked it more than my 2 year old did. It is mulch-laden and heavily forested around half of the playground. There is a large swing set on one side of the playground and a huge number of sports fields and a tennis court on another. There is a portable bathroom right by the playground. My husband loves the scenic disc golf course on site.
Roxy likes walking around this park. She likes to see all the people playing frisbee golf!
Park has two entrances: East and West. The east entrance is where the tee box 1 of an 18 hole disc golf course. A large skating rink and warming house are located just beyond the playground equipment. Paved walking trails wind through out the disc golf course and woods.
The New course is a bit less fun than the old, but has more of a champion course feel to it. It is still great and I miss it every day I'm it if town. It can be hard to navigate without a map, but it's usually busy enough to follow the group ahead until you learn the layout. There are plenty of opportunities to step in water and walk through thick grass do dress appropriately.
Great park with a quality disc golf course, great playground and plenty of walking paths, basketball and tennis courts. I mostly go to this park for the disc golf, I'm an avid player and this course is one of my favorites. Tight and technical through most of the course, with a few open shots as well that keep it interesting. Fairly short course allowing for enjoyment for any skill level. There are typically ponds, but with the drought they have mostly dried up, but I assume they will be back after the snow melts from winter. It has become a very popular course so during peak hours expect some waiting, but it is well worth it. I also have brought my children to the playground, as it is well built and offers plenty for kids of all ages, though I will say some of the features are geared towards kids of slightly older ages 4-10 yr old or so. This park makes for a great family outing.
Great on even a hot day. Bring 2 waters, there may be shade, but be prepared.
Beautiful park, you can Walk, running or ride bicicle. Also you have an amazing golf Disk.
