Fantastic food and service. The atmosphere reminds me of the good old days when truck stops had great food, you could always tell by the amount of trucks that stop at this particular rest area. Lots of food reasonable amount of food for the cost compared to other places. The main kitchen menu stops at 10pm. But you can still grab their great pizza and wings. Parking: Restaurant shares a hotel. Wheelchair accessibility: Enter via the hotel entrance
Stopped by on our way home pretty late around closing time and the waitressblonde lady was very attentive, kind and especially was helpful with food reccomendations We had the pub all to ourselves so we played a couple games of pool and the vibe was super relaxed. Very bright inside for a pub lol Wasn't yucky or dive bar feeling at all lol also the Italian pizza is a must try yum
This place is a hidden gem. The food is phenomenal!! Quick service and pricing is more than fair. Large portions and home-cooked style. This is one of my favourites places. Great job Duke’s!!Food: 5/5

Came in just before the kitchen closed, it was my birthday and really wanted a steak. They were so good about getting my supper, even staying late while I finished. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME service from a warm and friendly staff!
Lack Lustre Experience..... Lunchtime around 130pm on a Tuesday. Waitress is friendly Service is okay Food.... Not good... Wings not fresh so proably why they were deep deep deep fried. See picture Yikes Also the wings had a "sitting in a warm place, too long" stink to them. $20 Ordered the full size "Nachos with Taco Beef" Arrived on a small plate, too much stuff not enough chips and cheap on cheese.... Sad and $20 Way overpriced sub standard slop Get it together Duke!
The food is awful. I ordered chicken wings to start. Nothing like microwaved wings left over from the day before for 13 bucks. Then had the chicken cesar salad. The lettuce was soaked , it was super bland, and it was bagged chicken thrown on a skillet for a few mins. The bar tender is cool, but this place blows otherwise
If life happens to take you off your route and puts you in Acheson, go to Duke's! The beer is cold, the pizza is delicious. And bartenders are a laugh!
Came here for lunch at approx 13:30, with a friend. There were approx 2 other customers in the place at the time. The food took forever to come out. I regret that I didn't time it, but it took way longer than one would expect a grilled ham & cheese sandwich to take. The food was ok, but certainly not worth the wait. The waitress was fond of yelling across the place to ask if we needed anything, instead of approaching the table. We were friendly and respectful to her, i.e. she had no reason to avoid our table. Final thing, just a pet peeve. They label their 12" pizzas as large. Having worked at several pizza restaurants this bothers me more than it should. 12" pizzas are medium.
Food and service were great. Women's washroom is totally unsafe only 2 stalls and not only are both toilets not anchored properly but the floor is very soft which indicates rot. There handicap was marked out of order. The entire bathroom needs to be gutted and redone properly. According to other customers this has been like this for an extremely long period of time. Management should have been on top of this ages ago. This reflects very poorly on management as well as the owners, both not doing their jobs to the fullest and they simply lack any concern for their customers safety. Wait till someone gets hurt and sues them, then they might do something about it. I for one will not be back unless I get word this has been properly fixed.
