Ace Shawarma

Good Burgers at a reasonable prices. Best french fries in town. Friendly staff. But Floors and tables should be more clean because dine in already started. Definitely will go there in my next visit to Kitchener.

Had the shwarma burger today. Found it pricey for what you get, but taste was good. Fries are solid and the hot sauce they have. It's a pretty popular place. Colleagues had the shwarma poutine and they liked it.

*I already started to dig in before I remembered to take a picture* I've been to the location in Cambridge and Kitchener and have enjoyed my meal each time. I find the portion is great and love the pomegranate dressing on the salad. Just wish it came with pita bread.

Super disappointed! I was very excited to try this place on Sunday for dinner but was very disappointed when I was coming out after picking my order. They charged $4.83 for 1 bottle of Barbican which anywhere in the market is $2. I literally confirmed 5 times with the staff if they are sure and could not turn back coz I had already paid by that time. I am never going here again, I understand that they are in the business of making money. The food was good. I ordered the Chicken Tikka meal and really liked it. Food - 4/5 - the quality of the chicken was really good. I really liked their fries and hot sauce. However, their garlic sauce was not that good. I was told that tikka would be spicy but it wasn't that for me. Everyone has different levels of spiciness. Service - the person taking the order was really good. He spoke clearly and was very patient with me. Parking - the closest parking is on Ontario Street. These are street parking spots but if those are full you can try the North of Duke Street. Ambiance - the place was cleaner than I expected based on the other reviews. They also have a washroom which has a board saying it is out of service but if you ask they let you use it. The washroom was very clean. Handicapped accessibility - they have handicapped accessible entrance. However, since there is only street parking, there are no handicapped accessible parking spots. The washroom is also not handicapped accessible. Price - I feel that they are overcharging by a huge margin. I had first asked for a can of pop but when I saw they had Barbican, I asked if I could swap. The person said I had to pay extra, I agreed. But only after paying I realized that I paid $4.83 for one bottle of Barbican. I asked the person multiple times, I was told again and again that it is what it is. If you google you can easily find that Barbican is much cheaper than that. I missed taking my bill for the Barbican but I have attached the receipt for the can. I wonder now, how much higher they are probably charging for the food. Never going to Ace Shawarma again. Overall - Good Food! But make sure you are clear about what you want to order. Everything extra is chargeable. Pls ask for your receipt when you leave. PS: all burgers are beef burgers ONLY. Vegetarian options: They do have some vegetarian options. Definitely worth trying. I think the filafil will go well with hot sauce for any vegetarian who likes spicy food. Kid-friendliness: I was not able to locate any high chair for kids. However, the staff here is really good. Parking: They do not have parking of their own. Closest parking is on Ontario Street on either side of Duke Street. Wheelchair accessibility: Only wheelchair accessible entrance. No wheelchair accessible parking or washrooms.

Went here late on a Sunday night for the first time and absolutely loved their food. We ordered a chicken tikka meal and a classic burger with spicy fries. Both the dishes were so good and felt like comfort food. The spicy fries were delicious and so crispy. The only thing missing in the restaurant is clean and proper seating. The booths were not cleaned and were unorganised. Would definitely come here again for their shawarma and fries but would grab the food as takeout instead!

Lots of food and large portions. Great taste. After a night on the town or anytime, the food from here is certainly a crowd favourite! Looks as good as it tastes.

Went here with a couple friends just now. The shawarma burger... Omg ... Also offers patio space which is rlly nice to sit at. My friend got the Saturday special double cheeseburger stacked with a grilled cheese + upgraded spicy fries + hot sauce and I never seen him eat like that before. Great experience would come again.

It was good in taste but i felt expensive for the amount of meat they serve, i tried twice and in both cases meat is very less,all i see is more fries .shawarma meat felt bit dried, which we can see in the picture added. please try to provide good amount of meat for that price. There is no proper food maintenance as we can see in the picture no hair net while preparing food for the other guy and no face mask even during this covid times. what if something happen to all of us

I have been thrice to this place. Just for their shawarma poutine. Combine it with extra toppings of Chicken tikka, and you are going to have an explosion of flavors to go through. I had their beef burger with shawrma. And that was great too. But the shawarma poutine. It's on par with my favorite place for shawarma. Definitely will recommend this to anyone in the kitchener to go here and try it to believe it. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian platter looks like worth the try. It has a lot of different things on it. Like the samosas and felafels... also the felafel wrap is a must try.
