Walked in on Sunday, half the place was empty.. we ordered 4 meals and we say down. Several older local couples came in after is, and just finished eating. We have clearly being discriminated. My friends lived in this town for over 4 years and have been treated like this before at this place. Do not come here if you're not a local senior. TL;DR Don't eat at this place. You are forced to pay first and can not leave when they "forget" about you waited 45 minutes for foos. Go down the road and wait the 15 minutes to sit down, they are busy for a reason .
Prices have skyrocketed due to the "pandemic" also quality/ customer service, and quantity has dwindled. The young lady that normally works there is wonderful to deal with but other staff are not as nice/accommodating. 80 dollars for take out for two people to have stuff missing out of our order! Third time this has happened and have had to drive back. I personally grew up going to this restaurant and i regretfully say i will never be back. Doors constantly closed for dine in dispite being allowed to when lockdowns aren't on. pretty sad that price jacking like this is happening in such a small community, i understand that costs are up everywhere, but their poutine has literally more than double in price from four years ago. Went here a little while ago and it was one of the greatest local meals I have ever had in my life. The restaurant had an epic marlin displayed proudly on the wall, which, as a renowned and somewhat famous fisherman myself, I can really appreciate. I ordered a burger and fries and it was delicious. The fries were perfectly cut and seasoned to perfection, and the burger was excellently cooked. It was so big I could not even finish it! Luckily I had enough left over to make my famous burger casserole. I will definitely come back next time I am in town! Thanks!
Poutine can hold up against just about any other in the county, fish is lightly battered and tender. Other items on Thier menu are very good to, gyros and chicken Cesar are my favorites but the burger never disappoints.
The Dinner we ordered was cooked to perfection....it was hot, very tasty and a large portion..priced well for the amount you get.. extremely satisfied..will recommend to my friends and family..I definitely will go back!!!
Food is good , but not worth the crazy price increase. Our family would normally order food from here couple times a month , but have been going elsewhere now.
Really terrible first impression, the woman at the counter yelled at her staff in front of us and everyone else in line for making a mistake she actually didn’t do anything wrong as it was me that went to the wrong side of the counter and not even that woman that helped me she was rude and snarky to us when ringing up our order - overall did not leave us wanting to return. Kids breakfast was good- halibut and fries was good overall frozen fries were a disappointment Sorry to the other staff that had to deal with that.
I've been going to this restaurant for years. Best food and service experience above all others. Elmvale is lucky to have such a fine place of business. Better value for your dollar than any fast food restaurant.
Drove from wasaga to find out this store is open only for six hours a day and weekends for three hours, was disappointed as a culinary chef I found these hours odd, I will update if I decide to go back and try there fish and chips but I’m uncertain if we’ll return to this restaurant in town.
Better than expected! Tasty Club sandwiches with real grilled chicken. Pay first at the counter and then sit for food to be delivered to your table. Simple. Plain settng. No liquor. Worth the visit.
